He actually takes marks on the lead a lot, he just usually doesn't kick the set shots.

Also it's quite obvious the Saints have no decent match up for him so we are isolating him one out a fair bit, which means he's more likely to get the ball.

I've just been frustrated watching him hang out the back of packs too often over the past 15 months. He's always at his best using his speed.

Adams playing phenomenonally. Reason why their 27 inside 50's has resulted in only 20 points.

Whish Jong would kick the bloody thing. 3 kicks for 12 handballs, where all 3 of his kicks have been good and a large portion of his 12 handballs have put teammates under the pump. He is playing well with his ball winning ability but his ball use ability needs to improve - but still give credit to him being our leading disposal winner.

His thought process was probably that he could bomb it in, more likely than not it would spill off to saints hands and they'd run it out. So he'd rather maintain possession and kick it backwards.

I don't mind it to be honest. We always complain about just bombing it into the footy, so why keep doing it? As long as we don't always just kick it backwards

Problem is there's the risk of the player he's kicking sideways to getting stuck, which happened to Wood and resulted in us just surrendering 30-40m of field position.

And even if it works, the Saints had already flooded back, so no matter how many times we kick it sideways we're eventually just going to have to kick it to a forward contest. If anything delaying the inside 50 kick just gives the flooded back Saints players more time to organise and setup a good zone.

Roos hasn't given us a single bit of credit yet this whole game. It's all St.Kilda's "letting us". Barracking at it's finest.

Exactly the same in the Swans vs Hawks game last night. Was all about what Sydney needed to do to win, then was all about What Sydney did wrong to lose.

Just an annoying flog.

Dogs really should be further ahead. Bont is 0.6 in the last 2 weeks?
