Actually I found Clarko's press conferences to be a bit meh towards the end of his tenure. He was such a professional coach all he would give the press was one of his favourite cliches "another solider, more polish, etc".

Whereas Sam seems to be refreshingly honest about where he thinks the list is and how he is going about building the team in his image. He doesn't go overboard but I feel like we have a real insight into what is happening within the club.
To be fair Sam has got plenty of time to become a grumpy SOB. Just wait until the stakes become higher.

Anyone remember the good old days of Hodgey rucking down in Tasmania? That was something different.
I was trying to remember exactly when that last "Great Ruck Problem" was. Pretty sure it was against North Melbourne?

Haha yeah I was thinking that today, it will come. He's been great trying to build good relationships with people in the media this year though, he knows what he is doing.

Other than the ruck a massive upgrade from last years team. Big drop in average age too.

Based on these "INs" we should beat them easily this time. Ha ha...

We’ve had some big ins and big outs too.

Given 4 of the ‘outs’ are playing reserves and Zac smith has retired I’d probably lu take the current team. But both king and lukosius were awarded coaches votes in the corresponding game last year, so definitely lose a bit there.
