Kelly was lucky he played a part in the last quarter.

Out: Owies (inj) Edwards (unlucky)

In: McGovern, Allan.
Edwards has been so meh and with Brock had a good game today tho. As meh as he has been I feel safe with him on any of thrilthorp, tex or fogerty than Brock on any of those lads. Long term Brock seems like he’ll be a better player but physically he seems a long way off playing on the big forwards of the game

Good to see people seeing the worth of BBBW in the team.
Always rooted for him to be in the team ahead of Flynn.
Perhaps we are finally returning to a 2 ruck system.
He’s been good and It’s worked the last two game but I’m not a huge fan of the two ruck system. Also we have three promising young key talls coming up the ranks and need to find them spots into the team.

Is Gov even a definite to come back in? Mini didn't seem to want to answer about his availability in his presser.

Crom have had a bit of heap of playing all there talls over the weekend. Though it was wet vs the pies and different story when vsing us usually.

Bailey did some nice things today but A.Reid/J.Wiliams add more as forwards than we lose from Bailey as a ruck.

Can’t really change too much from a winning team, but Gov coming back would be a massive plus against a trio of talls we will struggle with if we don’t get the midfield right.

So, for mine:

In: Gov,
Out: Owies (inj)

Cole to sub. Gross to take on the vacancy left in the forward half.
Otherwise I think he has to play at WAFL, gross, he needs to keep minutes up.

Allan coming back and taking a role off HB may be another option. Just unclear who he replaces when the side has had a win.

One of either Brockman or Ryan at each centre bounce. Let them have creative control.

Bailey did some nice things today but A.Reid/J.Wiliams add more as forwards than we lose from Bailey as a ruck.
Yes to Jack Williams but Baz has kicked as many goals in the last two weeks as archer has this whole season.

Archer is defs one for the future but if there’s selection integrity he falls back behind Jack and Bailey. He has been afford more chances than any other kid this season. Hopefully the AFL experience means he can start to kick big bags at WAFL level.

Hmmm, interesting, what is your definition of selection integrity?

It's hard too make many changes in a winning side. Baz and Flynn are a bit clunky but it's working with the addition of hough and Ryan to help in the midfield. I don't think it hurts to give Gov another week off.

  • Gross to fwd pocket and Owies out
  • either Johnston/Allan/Grego to debut and start as sub

Gov in - Owies Out

I’d leave it at that.

Leave the ruck (it’s not ideal but the sum of the parts is at least competitive.)

Leave the forward line - No Archer Reid or Jack Williams. Bailey offers more around the ground.

Gov back to help stem the tide hopefully - those guys are going to have their hands absolutely full.

Out: Owies (inj); In: Dewar

And if Gov is available a very unlucky Brock to miss (Flynn and Williams playing reasonably well and working out as a dual ruck set-up is really screwing with me … doesn’t feel like it should work but somehow it does).

Dewar to sub and Gross into starting team.

Thought it was concerning Mini couldn't even say if Gov was out of the concussion protocols.

Something sounds a bit off.
There was a post a week or so ago with a Schofield audio grab saying, words to the effect of, his concussion could be bigger than we realise and not surprised if it's career ending

No unforced changes unless it is for McGovern, because he's just that good.

Gross into the starting team, perhaps for Owies.

Unlucky for whoever makes way for Gov (if he's fit) as both Brock and Edwards played very well.

Can't see how A. Reid comes straight back in after O. Allen's best game forward/all round.

Worry about two rucks, three KPDs and two KPFs, but given Crows also skew tell maybe it is a necessary evil.
Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?

Incorrect. Unless it's opposite day. Then 100%
Not opposite day. While Jack/Archer both get beaten in the ruck, Jack makes the opposition ruck work harder than Bailey and Archer has better footy IQ. Both are also much better forwards than Bailey, though I think Jack has the edge over Archer. I understand Mini wanting to trial dual rucks but I think we would be better with either Jack or Archer in the side over Bailey.

Fair, I still think hes a good chance to come straight back in though
Why change a winning side beside injury.
Reid isn't a like for like for Oowies.
Neither is the Gov but as others say we might need another tall defender.
And i don't want play Allen in defence to fit Reid in.
If Mini wants to play Allen in defence then play Jilliams not Reid.
Reid needs to develop his craft at the Beagles like kicking a goal and not points.
