Fanning's a boy doing a mans job. He was fantastic against Cox two weeks ago, but was smashed by Everitt last week. Giving him a run back for Williamstown is the best thing for his confidence. He'll be going "head to head" with Ben Davies, one of them is going to be dropped back to the rookie list when Bucks returns in a week or two.

No he bloody isn't, and no he bloody didn't.

Still too slow, both in foot speed and with doing something when he gets the ball. Too many times he took an uncontested mark and, instead of trying to move it on quickly like every other player in our back half, he'd wait... and wait... and wait... and then kick long to a big pack where either they'd outmark us 3-on-1 or just punch it over the boundary line.

On the other hand, the other much-maligned player, Shane O'Bree, was terrific tonight. I only saw the last qtr last week as I had other commitments, but his last quarter there was very good and he stepped it up again tonight. His clearance work was a prime reason why we did so well tonight.
