Fyfe owes me a big one tomorrow. Was so close to trading him out for Jelwood last night. Jelwood was cheap and it would have helped my round 13 bye. Ended up doing a double downgrade and a sideways (SPP> S Selwood).

If Fyfe is a late out tomorrow I won't be happy. If he plays though he better get to his BE (118). Think he'll be gone for me next week unless I see a big improvement in him. Can't justify keeping a premium mid if they are regularly scoring below 100.

Only 18 this week so hoping to go around 1700.
Have 20 playing the next 2 before trades so hoping to average around 1800 for the byes.
Amen to that. If I manage 5400 over these three weeks I'll be pretty happy. Only managed just over 5100 last year. This is the point in the season that I really crashed and burned last year. At the moment I feel like I'm in a much better position to cope with the buys. 3 trades used this weekend, non next weekend and another three for round 13. Last year I had to use 3 trades every round and still couldn't get 18 on the park for one of them.

Brought in Sloane over Jelwood this week which I'm a little dark on but should pay off in the long run. He couldn't have played much worse and got 89 so not the end of the world. Did pull the trigger on S.Selwood though who looks like an absolute bargain. Can't see him averaging less that 90 in that midfield where they share it around.

I may be insane but chose to trade Stef Martin to Witts this week. I've been impressed with Witts' consistency and Stef shits me off when there's another ruckman in the side. Can see him getting a few more 60's until Smith gets dropped again and his price will plummet.

Love this faulty Thursday games. Stuffed up my trades last night because you can't confirm and see your actual team without locking yourself in. Got 9 faults in my midfield now so I guess it's time for a big Fyfe late out :thumbsu:

5/580 (C).
My opponent is 8/789(C).

We both have Otten but I have 19 playing v his 18 so might upgrade that score, while he can't.

Would take a catastrophe for me to lose from here. That said, after the blasphemous bad luck I've had the last three weeks, who the hell knows!

Farewell Parsnip you are gone this week.

Have 19 playing this week so I am hoping that all of my remaining 11 players can beat Parsnip's score of 56 so that his shit score will drop out.

Now after Sloane (VC) ......who the F...k do i put my (C) on to, so as to not get totally get embarrassed this week

Gut says Ablett ......but my gut also said Sloane & we know how that worked out

Pendles, treloar ?????
The other day I told you gut and bias can be confused and crouch would score more than Sloane .
You may also recall I just said Crouch without specifying which one as that gave me 2 chances of being correct..:p

Well, it's true .....the sun does come up the next morning :'(:'(

I'm sure there's plenty of hoop-lah over the great scores .......but spare a thought for those of us who:

1. Are Crows Supporters
2. Brought Sloane in over Scooter
3. Put the (VC) on Sloane over Dangerfield
4. Have Sandilands and Fyfe as potential outs

Bringing in a premo this week. When they have a bye in 2 weeks was a bit stupid. R12 triple upgrades should have an obvious target. Skipping byes is a math thing. Getting a nice fancy premo before his bye. Hmm. Not genius.

It's not always that simple. Dollars, trades, price fluctuations/JS of the incoming and outgoing players etc etc. Agree in the general principle but there can be exceptions. Sloane was an obvious trap though - with the Scooter tag and R13 bye it added up to danger signs.
