Not potting the kid because he doesn’t choose the team, but why did we play Gardner this week? What was the logic exactly?

Because it kind of looks as though the match committee are just throwing darts in the dark now.

WC’s tall defence meant ideally we played another tall. Seeing as we’re not flush with Jeremy Caamerom types we just needed the extra tall to present, have a crack and make his opponent accountable.
Young and Schache probably lost out to Gardner due to the fact at their current level of development, if they aren’t receiving the ball out in space or lace out they probably aren’t going to offer what is required for today’s game against WC.
