It would seem that is the only thing that makes sense.Perhaps last week was influenced by the inpending birth of Jarrad Mooney.

He's changed his name already?
First it was James to Jimmy.
Next it was Jarad to Max.
Now it's Jager to Jarrad.

Hawkins hasn't actually played VFL, hence no footy at all, for 3 weeks now has he? Didn't he go to Adelaide for the Port game as an emergency and then was pulled from the VFL at the last minute as an emergency for the seniors last weekend??? For a bloke that's main problem at AFL level is his ability to run out a full match surely sitting on the sidelines is the worst thing possible for his development, specifically his fitness. Is he injured?

He played against Box Hill, then the following week the VFL had a bye and last week he was a backup if Mooney didn't come up.
