Team selections have worked out pretty well for me. With crouch coming in I will hold off on Mitchell until round 13.

Ended up going Rowe to Nicholls and Dwyer to Bartel.

Pains me to get rid of him, but I need to reduce my R13 mids. Other options would be Crouch (too much money to make), Evans (R12 bye, will need him) Keeping Hodge because of his 11 bye.

Leuey -> Nicholls

Tempted by Kreuzer but it's a way bigger benefit for me to pocket the money and put in someone who will just get something on the scoreboard R13. I'm running a pretty tight ship with Ellis, Dwyer and Rockliff being injured - if all of these guys are out leading up to R13 and I still have trades to make in the midfield, I don't want to be stuck with not enough money to get exactly who I want...can't really compromise my midfield since it's pretty weak atm, need to be able to get in gun keepers.

Can field 20 next week if all my injured players return and no one else is rested or injured. Can field 17 R13 at this stage but that could be as few as 15 if Rockliff Ellis haven't returned.

Really depends on what your team looks like. Where are you heavy on byes? R13 midfield probably. In that case downgrading Dwyer might be a good move.

Goodes is a keeper at D6/7, where as Dwyer is someone you'd probably end up trading out at some point. So Dwyer for me.

Thanks Chrisso123 and CaptScott - matches my thinking, just thought I'd ask the question without including any bias.

Also helps my bye structure a little. Although while I know what I want to end up with at the end of the byes, I'm not convinced I know how to get there with as little pain as possible.

No to Crouch, yes to Mitchell

Crouch has a Rnd 13 bye, a massive sub risk (Mitchell is as well though, but not to the same extent) and will cost an extra 65k

I was looking at getting in Crouch once he came back to, but with a choice out of Hrovat, Mitchell, Kyle Martin and a couple others, there isn't a need to grab someone who has already had a jump.

I thought about bringing in Bartel, but already had too many R12 forwards (SJ, Cox, JJK, the dead Tom Lee) that I couldn't really justify it.

Wanted to bring in round 12 mids - just hope Jelwood comes good. Going forward they have a great run home with games in Geelong against sides he could go huge against. Loved him in years gone past so backing him in.

Can get by with keeping Blicavs this week. Probably bring in Nicholls next week. 3rd ruck will hopefully only be required for 1 game next week with Cox missing - then sit on the pine for the rest of the year.
