Who will get the honours this week?

will it be Goldy against the Tigs on Friday night? or is the curse still in effect? toxic
There is also Martin/Deledio on friday night

Saturday holds plenty of options.
Gawn against the Hawks. Zorko against the Blues. Danger, Ward, Selwood, Shiel down at Kardinia.
Is the Perma Captain back in Gaz? Parker, Hannebery, Titch, Buddy, JPK? plenty of options up at Metricon on Saturday night! Could Neale be a sneaky POD pick for VC on saturday night in the west against the Dons?

Plenty of C options on Saturday as well! Pendlebury against the Power. Gray also a chance. Dahlhaus, NN, Priddis all playing Sunday arvo at the G! Will the Dogs ruck curse strike again? Adelaide have the Saints in the last game of the round. Monty, Rooey, Steven, Sloane all possibilities for that game.

Reckon Pendles will be most popular C pick, with one of Danger/Goldy/Gaz/Hanners/Buddy all vying for that VC selection.

Might be stuffed for options this week. At this stage it's possible that goldy will be my only VC option, and I'm worried about his knee

Those looking at Gawn vs Hawthorn this week. While I understand the idea that he should dominate hitouts against McEvoy/Ceglar, how many of those will be to advantage is the only question that matters. Hawthorn's mids routinely rove off their oppositions ruckman. And McEvoy/Ceglar should be able to occupy Gawn enough around the ground to prevent him going massive.
Just my opinion, but I'd be looking elsewhere this week. I certainly am.

I think I will trade in buddy just so I can VC him against the suns...

Buddy has been SUPER consistent this year, without a huge spike. He looks fit, is playing well.... that's an intriguing idea. A massive bag against the Suns is not out of the question. I started with him, and it's certainly not worth a trade in, but he is a legit VC option.

Goldy looked very sore against Sydney fwiw

Looked more precautionery than anything, once the game looked over halfway in the last quarter he sat it out.

At this point I'm VCing him. Hampson will match up well against him in the ruckwork stakes but even a half fit Goldy will absolutely torch Mr Gale around the ground.

Hampson is a shitbox, but he does get a lot of taps so might steal a few points off Goldy.
