I think you missed the bit where 3kz said that froggy will psychologically believe he is playing on Cameron. It’s a fool proof strategy.
Just fyi Elixuh this was taken by a friend of mine on the 10th yesterday. Same croc.

These are the conditions we tough guys play under in the Far North. I think this croc ate 10 of my balls last season. My golf balls that is.

I used to play Mareeba as my local - those roos would make me take a drop or two if I didn't want to pick a fight.

That second half I’d never been so scared watching a game of footy…it’s ridiculous I know but it took me back to watching the Night Stalker series as a 12 year old

That's f'n crazy. Americans would melt over that. But then they camp and hike around bloody Grizzly bears which are much more terrifying.

Watched the first half last night. How amazing was that goal by Rayner in the first? Faster than greased lightning.

The song choices by some of our players are interesting. pre 2000 music is still as big as ever with the kids. Was surprised and happy to hear one of them (Kai I think) had chosen Boney M's disco classic Daddy Cool.

Would like to hear "shut em down" by public enemy when Harris kicks a goal.
The thought of the gabba singing that would be awesome.

My 14 year old granddaughter loves the Beetles and 60s/70s music in general, she plays the drums and guitar.

The younger generation do have musical taste, at least some of them, don't seem to be as big on drinking as earlier generations either going by my 17 and 20 year old grandsons and their peers.

There is too much autotune and miming when playing live today. No wonder people serious about music often look to the past.

Freaking expensive to drink out.

Retail liquor outlet sales have fallen off a cliff over the last 12months and if you're a wine fancier you can buy premiums at under a third of what the RRP is albeit under a concealed label to protect their marketing. Because retailers can't move stock.

There's significant rationalisation incoming over the next couple of years.

Just randomly, I saw two bottles of Penfolds Bin 389 Cab Shiraz, 1998 & 2000 listed in a general auction. Any good?

Smoking as well. Which is why some evil minds came up with vaping to lure them in.

As for The Beatles they are timeless and almost as big as they ever were. Kids love them just as much as the kids in the 60s, or in my case the 80s.

lol Fages presser pretending not to know Essendon got in front at some point. What’s next pretending not to know who the opposition is.
Have we considered Fages may have selective dementia?

That’s a complete myth, remember top of the pops having to ban and then un-ban miming because the live performances were so bad?

Plenty of very good bands play live and do it well, the difference is there’s thousands upon thousands of bands available at the click of a button now so the super bands have become much less common apart from pop artists. Bit different when everyone had to listen to radio and hear the same handful of artists played all the time

I wasn't talking about bands miming on TV, I was talking about the almost ubiquitous use of auto-tune and pitch correction. These techniques are being used live by many singers/bands, who mostly do not disclose this is happening (e.g. Taylor Swift's last tour). Of course some bands don't do it. It is so epidemic in the industry that they even recently pitch corrected some singers on Britain's Got Talent. Some contestants in these talent shows are now concerned that they will their vocals will be negatively altered during production to enhance the narrative. Even more frustrating for some musicians, is when the producers do this to live performances without their consent. Wings of Pegasus YouTube channel is a good place to get some background knowledge if interested.

Nothing is what is seems anymore with perfect 10 second AI generated clips being released this month. By the end of the year deep fake longer videos will be able to be made by prompts that will be almost indistinguishable from real videos. This is why there is yearning for the original recordings where there are real human voices expressing emotion and not voices that auto-tuned to a constant note.

First time hearing Noah's? goal song Rock The Casbah  Was flabbergasted that none of the commentators knew it and even worse dissed it (well BT anyway).
Just shows the commentators are not music lovers and have no idea
Absolutely a classic song.
Has been sampled by other artists alot to make hits.
Ffs I can remember late nineties someone winning DMC spinning double copies of it mixing it into MJ's Billy Jean.
