Brisbane and Collingwood could very likely be playing off in the Grand Final this year so a little perspective is needed when looking at our last two matches.

The nature of our losses however has exposed the gap between us and the very best.

The AFL couldn't possibly go for that one, pure football incident with eyes on the ball. The amount of grief they'd get from the ex-players on panel shows alone would be extreme, and I'm glad they have thought it through at least.

Obviously player feedback to AFL is just because someone is concussed, it should not lead to a suspension.

Dude Chol is proving to be a bit of an Inspector Gadget. Not only is regularly kicking bags of 3 and being a genuine forward target but hes done a pretty admirable job of pinch hitting in the ruck and has contributed a lot pushing up onto the wing and being a connecting player in the midifeld. A Ramsden/Chol ruck combo would be a step backwards compared to Meek on his own but I would be interested to see and probably prefer it to just Reeves.

I've stopped watching 360 as it's now like a love-in, with he and Lyon always in meek agreement with what each other is saying. I miss Robbo, who at least used to challenge the nerd.

Whateley needs to learn what proper professsional commentators do, i.e. act in a non-partisan manner. He has a great example in the commentary box next to him in Huddo, who's a million times better and always impartial. You could never tell that Huddo is a Cats fan. You can always tell that Whateley is.
