Gearing towards the second half of the season there are some guys who i would like to see get some games into them, especially Morabitto and Sylvia. They both have the capacity to significantly improve us. With the bye I am not sure this is the right time for them to come in.

I doubt we'll see Sylvia or Mora in because neither of them are really setting peel alight. I love Sheridan but he'll definitely be out. Maybe give Brady Grey a guernsey now that he's traveled with the big boys.

I'd keep a close eye on how Fyfe & Hill pull up too. I wouldn't be that surprised if one of them is out injured next week.

Relax people, Ballas cant be cited for that trip. It was an attempted tackle that fell short. Free kick was payed and move on.

He would be at risk if we stuck out a foot to trip someone. Deboer got done for that a few years ago from memory
Dustin Fletcher has based a record breaking career on the foottrip.Balla has no idea how to do it.It's a telescopic leg trick from the Inspector Gadget school. Also the Bullies player clipped Ballas lower leg on the way past to unbalance him.
Did you brick the barstard Grape Bear??

Suban did enough. Powered through packs, fought hard, good energy all day. Got found for pace a few times but that's not his role.

Sherro struggled to get involved, will need to go back to work at Peel to get better and work himself into the game, I think. Not sure who to bring in for him.

Adelaide midfield are about as big bodied as ours, so ours will have to lift to get on top of the Crows next week. They have a better forward line than ours currently in terms of KP's although Zac and Luke will account for Pods and Jenkins easily. How is Tex playing these days?

I wish I were close enough! :/

Not just Ballas, Pearce was legged right in front of the ump - and got paid a free against.

Silvagni and Tex match up after the Semi in 2012 would be our greatest nightmare.

Not really. In that game Silvagni had no help from the midfield and Walker had ridiculously good supply. Won't happen again.

Two things:

1/ Those saying 'drop Sheridan' need to think how he goes when he goes back to Peel. I know bushie says he played like a big girls blouse last time he played for them - and I didn't see the game so I won't comment - BUT he did have 30+ possessions and kicked a goal or two from memory and (supposedly) earned his recall. He's the same as Crozier in that regards - is a 10 possession player at AFL level, so gets dropped, then goes back to WAFL and picks up 30, so gets a recall. How does one manage these young players who are too good for WAFL, but not quite up to AFL level yet? Drop him so he gets his 30, then bring him in the week after to get 10? In, out, in out, and when it comes to playing footy that probably isn't anywhere as nice as some people are currently imagining...(you dirty buggers). I don't know the answer, and I'm sure it's the $64 million question in player development...

2/ 'Tex is back in town' is the big headline - anyone worried? Adelaide are VERY unpredictable, up, down, up, down (same comment as above thanks) - I'm concerned that given our relative inconsistency this year that this becomes yet another danger game. But with Walker hitting his straps, could this be an 'up' week for them - I feel we were anything but convincing today.

Wouldn't say worried but they are certainly good enough to upset us if everything went right for them on the day.
