So an article in the Worst says that Macca is looking proppy and unlikely to play this weekend... I think we're destined for Silvagni-on-Walker shenanigans forever.

EDIT: It is the Worst though therefore rendering this post useless.

StingBitten you can also listen to what Ross actually said;RTB said we came out of the game well and he fully expects everyone to be available.
From that exact interview the state's only rag got that Elvis was in doubt.
You cannot treat them like a newspaper.

People saying that what he is doing is "impressive for his age". People seem to give him extra latitude because of his age and he always seems to be a lock in the 22 even when similar type players like Ibbotson and Clancee are fit and available but are forced to miss out. I struggle to comprehend how he is so entrenched in the line-up when he has such glaring deficiencies.
Sutcliffe is doing a great job. What the hell are you on about? Have a closer look at his games this year. His value is actually that he has done a fantastic job and shutting down his man. His overall kicking efficiency is also excellent. Wht glaring deficiencies are you talking about? Or are you taking the piss with the above comment?

OK. Answer me honestly, Coulda.

1. Back in your day, when you were leading into space, were your arms (a) pumping back and forth by your sides like Usain Bolt, (b) pointing to the place you wanted your mate to kick it to, or (c) doing a Dean Cox impression?

In my day the same as today if the body was sound I would be trying to run into space and hope that my team mate would pass me the ball but only if I was goal side and had a better chance that him to kick a goal .
If he ran past me then I would look to see if he was being chased and put on a block on for him . The only difference between my approach and Sheridan is he was waving his arms trying to convince Steven to kick it to him and maybe create doubt in the opposing backman's mind as to who he needed to cover .

Are you back at home yet couldhavebeen? You don't seem to be using the Wifi with the dyslexia virus anymore or is it just that you are posting sober??:D
Back after a great trip through the centre of Australia and up to the Devils Marbles . Two weeks on no phones ,stop when you like something and meeting country folk in their back yard Yee har.
The Culture shock of not having to padlock everything when ever you wanted to stop and have a chat ,FANTASTIC. and the Aboriginal People full of life and smiles as well as proud of their culture AMAZING .

Just stop it coulda, please.

The point is that Sheridan did NOT offer himself as a better option by marking on the 50, when Hill had a clear run at goal. You either clear out the space and make yourself accountable to an opposition defender, or take some f***er out, in that position. You DON'T stand there like a muppet and get in the road.

You'd be a fixture in the magoos when I was coaching.

It's a good sign that the standard of whipping boy has increased over the years from the likes of Dodd and Gilmore up to the level of Sutcliffe.
Go further back and we weren't even demanding enough to have a whipping boy. If the Prince of Pockets got 50% of the kick ins right it was a good day.

If he was having a bad day he was always able to give it to Shane Parker to kick out!!!!!

Is It any wonder I want to keep Duff Man in the team despite his other weaknesses, I do remember those days!

Chisholm would have been the cause of many a Fremantle supporters' vallium prescriptions.

The DT'ers would have loved him though. Only guy in the league who would rack up a guaranteed 30+ touches a game all from kicking to himself.

I remember being at a mates place as a kid when he managed to execute a pinpoint the perfect pass to a player 25 metres out.. unfortunately they of course weren't wearing a Freo jumper.. I then just dropped the most massive F bomb in front of his family lol.

Boy that bloke was an enigma.

Geez I dunno..

Although I guess it would have been interesting to know how he would have went if he actually had a coach that was from planet Earth.

Nah, he was an ordinary footy player who produced some special moments and funny moments and moments you wanted to kill him.

Top bloke in real life and funny as f***.

I was actually hoping you'd answer that slicedndiced. Scotty or Sheridan?

That's like having to choose which knacker to have removed to .....oh I don't know. Bloody difficult question mate. I'll go with Sheridan by a nose. There, I said it!

Ahhhhhh Shane Parker's sister ....those were the days

That's her. What a grand player she was!

:(

They keep getting chucked on my lawn even though I cancelled my subscription; need the fire fuel.
It's not even good enough for that any more. Something changed with the paper they use a few years ago and now it's almost flame ******ant. You can't even use it to clean windows because the ink comes off too easily.
