FWIW, someone who was coming 15th (2-7) in one of my leagues scored 2384 and defeated the previously unbeaten leader by around 500 lol. these bi rounds sure shake things up.

2037...bloody Hargrave; would have been nice to crack 2100. Others in the bad books are Judd, Treloar, Goddard and N. Riewoldt. But overall, not too much to complain about. 2037 with three zeros and Treloar's 7 isn't too bad. Looking at two zeros next week (none if Spurr and Hall get a game).

IMO you shouldn't be eligible for the weekly prize unless you have a team from round 1.

That would cut out too many potential player and they want as many people to sign up and play as possible. That's why you see the "It's still not too late to be a supercoach" ads in the paper mid-year. I know, I made a couple.

Good score mate :thumbsu: It is really unfortunate what happened to you with the lockout considering your goal was to win the weekly this round. I hope for your sake that your remaining players stand up in a big way today!

Got 2292 with Sexton (30) Redden (40ish) Hartlett (subbed) and Guerra (subbed).

Also I was completely wrong about Ryan Griffen (93 x2 as captain....)

But got good games from Bob Murphy, Higgins, Schulz, Franklin, Cox, Petrie, Harvey & Grima, as well as above average from Houli/Conca, so I'll take what I learnt from this week to next year and hopefully my team will be planned better with decent rookie emergencies (for example, keep Zorko-traded him to Whitecross thinking he'd struggle and Sexton ended up covering Whitecross so ouch!).

1873 in the end. Disappointing with Kennedy not picked, Saad a late out and Renouf and Treloar both being horrible. Should pick up next week, relatively speaking, since I was aiming for a balanced bye approach.

Yep. It's clearly not fair, but if you can't beat them join them..lol. I made one, cam 98th with a score of 3 (o'hanlon), 30 (Yarran), 56 (gibson), 54 (Moore) and a couple of below par scores from Shaw (adelaide) and Birchall with no Nicnat.

In the end the winner started from round 1, but aimed his team solely at this round, so what's the difference?

He averages 1800 including a near 2800 this round o_O

Not much over 2000 this week which I felt might be par for my 892 ranking or a slight fall. Was pleasantly surprised to see an overall ranking of 539. Waiting for a round 13 drop. Will be happy with a top 1000 ranking post round 13 with a complete team in round 14 to ride out the year.

2279 with a donut, and Redden(44), Smith(33), Gibson(58) and Goddard(67) and a few others severely under performing.
