Ballas has been electric at Subi.

The Crows will IMO be a challenge and Freo need this to keep their top 4 chances alive.

The moment Tex got back into the side I started tipping them because he is such a gun he can lift a whole team. That being said, with a backline like ours, hopefully we can give him a quiet week.

Walker, I refuse to call him Tex, versus Lukey will be a great match-up. He's a very good forward. The benefit for us is I think guys like Johnson and Dawson are just too good for Pods et al. Freo are a much better side, hitting some form, no real injuries, at home... no excuses not to win this one.

Caught a little of their game yesterday. Pods and Betts seem to play better with the attention on Walker.

If our mids don't stop the delivery into 50 it'll turn out to be a long day.

We should still be fine, just not expecting a walk in the park.

Saw a fair bit of the Adelaide GC game on the weekend. The lack of two way running across the Crows entire midfield is appalling. I also had never noticed how average Rory Sloan's field kicking is. If we come to play (#givegreateffort), we will account for them comfortably.

I don't recall it being THAT comfortable, Fyfe with 4 goals was pretty much what separated the teams in the end.

Its almost a gimme Taylor Walker will rip us a new one. Had a quick look at his record against us and he's averaging almost 4 goals a game from his 7 matches. If Luke can hold him down and Crowley can nullify Danger we win.

FRE 91 def ADE 58.

If Fyfe gets up for this, we win. Without him it will be hard to stretch Adelaide around the ground. With our full complement of Defenders available we should be able to hold Tex, Pods and Betts.

Mundy always seems to play well against the Crows, who could forget his shimmy at Adelaide oval.
