Think he has checked out. Kid has all the tools but in elite pathway that doesn't mean success.
Probably missing home.

Not sure that's the problem. He's a freak athlete, not much of a footy brain it seems. He's often where the ball ain't.

He hadn’t played much State league football prior to being drafted.
One of those “plucked from obscurity “ picks.
I think we picked him, to play high hf, maybe George’s role.
It hasn’t worked, he lacks hurt factor.

You’d have thought that’d be a 10 + goal victory to them.
We did win clearances and hit outs . Suppose you’ve got to look for some positives

He covers a lot of ground, but with little impact.
We’ve never really seen a breakout game at VFL level.
We’ve re-signed Mansell this year on 2 years, I don’t think it’d be very smart list management to keep another very speculative small forward on the list.
Happy to get games into Seth and MRJ, and look elsewhere for our next small forward

Blight and Gray both look good, no issue with those selections really

it's just when you look how completely bereft our tall FWD stocks are...and the most influential KPF on the ground by a mile with 3 goals, missed another sitter, and at least a goal assist that I saw, is Scaife...

we just hate taking pure forwards in the drafts, don't we?

Still wasn't seen as a pure KPF though, was more a Ruck/KPF type IMO. I thought maybe McBean, bvut he was kinda the same.

Post was not really a FF, he was a weird KP-HF running, wing....thing. We was an odd beast indeed. He had moments where he looked exciting as ****, but then.......nothing. He is like merging Richo, Rance, Gibcus all together, but ending up with a player that was shithouse

Was looking forward to the game but came away wtf did I just watch as we were mainly putrid. We had no forward line whatsoever and they kept bombing up there ala our senior team. Coulthard Green why did we bother getting them totally useless. Only bright light was Blight. This guy has senior list written all over him. He reminds me of Dunstall Lockett type strong well build can mark and is a beautiful kick. Call me mad or crazy i think he has the makings of a top ff type.
