His having a go at what i posted about reid lol Little does he know I hate the deal and the money involved but club has already offered the deal and wc only waiting on him. I believe from what he told me he doesn't want to come to us though and we won't be changing the offer. Still think it's a bad idea but who knows.

I think Rioli deserves a few consistent weeks in the AFL side, pinch hitting as a midfielder, just to see how he goes. Green I'd rest, probably Faull too.

If it were my choice-

OUT: Ryan, Lalor, Dow, Green, Faull
IN: Nankervis, Prestia, Sonsie, Clarke, Lynch

We probably look a lot stronger on paper like that hey, as much as I'd like Faull and Lalor still in.

Broad, Miller, Brown
Vlastuin, Gray, Banks
McIntosh, Sonsie, Ralphsmith
Ross, Sims, Rioli
Campbell, Lynch, Mansell
Nankervis, Taranto, Hopper
Trainor, Prestia, McAuliffe, Smith
Sub: Clarke

Have to give Sonsie a chance in the guts...
If Rioli is going to develop into a midfielder, then he needs to go back to the vfl and play midfield there. Once he has shown he can play midfield at that level then bring him into the seniors. Playing him in the midfield at afl level without form in the. vfl is just guaranteeing he will fail

Yep, a few posters go on about Kmac2 not having a tank, well if that's the case then Rioli doesn't have half a tank. However, I'm convinced the club is treating him wrong and trying to turn him into a goal sneak when he should be a contested midfielder.

It’s utterly fascinating that people will be so passionate and obsessed enough to post on online forums 24/7 and react to every single event yet know/understand so little about anything.

VFL side to take on GWS at 12.30 tomorrow. Maurice named in the guts is interesting. Balta at HB as well. Should be a closer game than the seniors

So we've got Hopper, Taranto, Prestia, McKauliffe and Sonsie who all wanna play inside mid. That makes 5.

Dow injured, Lalor injured and Ross accepted fate that he's better as a forward flanker.

Of the 5 inside mids we are playing, bugger all have any flexibility or capability of creating confusion by taking their man forward or elsewhere.

Taranto is the only one who can play forward. McKauliffe has showed he can get a few shots as well (but hasn't capitalised).

Hopper, Prestia and Sonsie are only really capable as inside mids and can't play any other position.

None of them have the ability to defend if their opposing midfielder try's to exploit them by rolling forward.

Likewise none of them are particularly fast and 4/5 aren't tall.

In conclusion, we are bloody one dimensional in the midfield

not responding to all of this but just the 4/5 aren't tall part

taranto is 188cm, hopper & kmac2 187cm

so either 5/5 aren't tall or 2/5 aren't tall

i know 1cm can make a big difference but not normally when it comes to height

Calf soreness

All that team selection says to me is we are still trying to play finals rather than develop players for next year. I guess we did make it from 3-9.
yeah and win the flag from 3-9
like 2019

I resemble this remark

Why the continuing KMac hate?
I really don’t get it.
We need to play experienced guys and I think he’s been pretty solid this year.
He plays in the midfield where we have plenty of experience and in my opinion he is no better than the kids he is denying game to.

That's a very tall backline

We’ve pretty competitive last few weeks but I think we get slaughtered here

Some kids starting to tire

hopper carrying the midfield

Lynch vs Taylor looks one sided, Taylor’s way

Spuddy Miller v Hogan is a squash match, Hogan for 10!
We’ve started to wobble a little. The injuries and small niggles seem to be stacking up and the form of a few kids is dropping off.

Once we get to the by we might have some changes.

I don't like the look of Banks being back on the wing. Hopefully when final teams are named he's shuffled back to half back and Smith is sub.
Thought the same but surely there's no chance. Trainor will either have to play up the ground (maybe on a wing?) and McIntosh/Sonsie can be sub or Smith needs to be sub
