**** me Maric is a good football player. If we can find a position where he can settle and gain some confidence he could be huge for us. He's a footballer.

Thanks for your work here - some excellent footage.

As always Alesana, your work is greatly appreciated.

Just a quick comment on two younger lads.

Culley:
When reading the stats, I was amazed that Culley had 7 turnovers from his 14 touches. To the naked eye, I thought he played a pretty reasonable game, all things considered. Player ratings had him as second worst on the ground:
Darling: -4.3
Culley: 1.4
Maric (Sub 36% TOG): 1.4
Sheed: 2.7
Jones: 4.2

Hutch:
Reasonable debut from Hutch with a PR of 6.9. You can excuse him on debut, but he'd love this moment in the second quarter again.

We were streaming through in a wave:
Ryan & Cripps (?) streaming towards the flank - Yellow
Waterman (?) cutting towards him from CHF, which he honours and attempts to hit, however the kick drops short - Orange.

The safest option was continue towards the wing, draw the defender and handball back inside to JD. If you clear that closing defender, you are arguably 7 (WCE) against 3 (Roos) heading towards goal.

It's not that CHF wasn't a reasonable option, but you have just got to nail that kick or it'll slingshot real quick.

I watched that play a second time as well. Thought Hutch should've gone over the top to Ryan who could then draw Cripps' opponent and hit up Cripps inside 50. Hopefully Hutch learns quickly
