I'm used to watching the radar daily, as a farmer and golfer I'm used to the Queensland radar images and when there is big rain coming all you see blue all over the radar covering up to 256km and like the cyclone, even further. This look more like passing showers. I am however glad for the South Australians and especially the farmers whom have been in a terrible drought, every drop will help.

I think the Lions are better 'scrappers' will just get it going forward. Like our great team, this one is also mature now, just keep belting it forward. Bigger bodies around the ruck, more mature. I think rain favours us, yes because we are used to it this year but more so our ability to get first use even if it punching it forward until it's clear for us to use. Zorko, Lester, Dunkley, McCluggage, Neal, Andrews - their experience will be so valuable in a wet game.

I'll still have the Buffalo Wings, maybe a rum or 2, they won't taste near as good I'm sure. Ya never know, if the footy gods smile upon us, and we play like the premiers we are, we could have a good win.

Crows were also genuine contenders through the mid 2000s onwards. It’s amazing a club with such financial heft in a footy state has had one gf in nearly 30 years

My post was tongue in cheek. I don’t think you can use Phil Walsh’s death in a promo for a Friday night game in good taste.

After the highs of last years Finals series, I have been reasonably mellow this year watching the footy.
But getting very excited for this one for some reason, feel as though things could get quite lively in my lounge room tonight.
Big game, another up and comer and genuine contender pressing their case against last years Premier, like the Suns earlier in the year, we lifted on that occasion at home, can we do it again away from home like we did against the Hawks.

30 +knots , that's big boy wind. The 120kg guys on skiffs would love it. And its fun to watch from the shore.

The ball will totally get carried if they try to kick. Will be a slog at ground level and played well be wrecked for next week.

Especially if they can't fly out tomorrow. Poor lachie if they can.
