I was there too. Queued up from 4am and got great seats in a mini-bay in the old mcc members pavilion but totally exposed. Sat with our feet in water all day, never been so cold in all my life (that is an exaggeration...I lived through about 15 winters in Germany). Totally worth it.I was sitting in the open air Ponsford stand for the 2002 GF. Drizzling rain all day 9-10 degrees max. It wasn't that bad. That said if I didn't have undercover seating I wouldn't have gone![]()
I got a selfie with Clark Keating over the fence before selfie's were a thing on that day. Unfortunately, I had the zoom extended on my Canon IXUS, so I got a nice blurry shot of half of Cracker's face, half of my face, and his shoulder. I'm still upset.
