I know a few of our backmen underperformed today but I think Hutch was probably the least impactful, having time and space and kicking it directly to Geelong players and then not providing much defensively with 2 tackles. I thought he should've been subbed off instead of Maric. But Maric being subbed off I think means McCarthy comes in for him next week.

I'm not bringing Gov back in until either Eddie or Bock need to be dropped. I'm bringing in Bazzo asap. McCarthy probably gets a run. Whoever we draft and 1 and 2, at last one can start at half back.

Its a tough one for Cole but regardless of how he played tonight I believe the new guy is worth a look and I want to see how he works with Maric, imagine having 2 people in the back half who can use a football.

Reckon it could be time for a spell for Hutch, but doubt it'll happen. Allan to get a full game. Dewar or Long to sub.

I don’t rate Hall. I don’t think Hall can make it at AFL level with his skills and lack of defensive workrate.

There is no point in having kids chop up the WAFL if you won’t play them. 29 and two goals as a genuine pure mid. A good month before that. Get him in Mini.

Harry's ceiling may be a standard 14 x maxibrick = 2.4m internal level. But someone has to play that role. And we're light on.
