I'm thinking Barrett didn't watch the match, and just made a judgement from the scoreline. The result was shit, but the Eagles absolutely torched North everywhere but the scoreline from the 10 minute mark until 3/4 time. Not lacklustre, just lack-value-for-money. Any normal day, and the Eagles go in to 3/4 time 35 up and can hold on as the legs flag.

But if all you saw was the scoreline, yeah, you'd hae thought it was likely a very lacklustre performance.

I mean, most stuff was let go in the 90s. Woosha and Buddha Hocking got no weeks between them for basically eye gouging each other.

Also, Jeff Farmer choked out Braun in 2004 and got zilch. I think Brian Lake got zilch for almost choking Petrie to death.
