Was made last night and didn't see the message as I was at a conference.

Any suggestions for a smaller banner to show support in the cheersquad?

I assume you used red & white as the predominant colours ................... save supporters any anguish on Monday evenings.

Yes, our cloak of invisibility !!!.

Ok now I REALLY need Sylvia to perform. If he decides to have the first average game against Richmond he's had in a decade I'm going to have a lot of egg on my face.

Go Dockers.

It's all on you now mate. You called it and Ross was listening.

What are people hoping for from Sylvia? I guess it depends on where he actually plays, but was thinking maybe 15 touches, 1 goal, and most importantly good pressure/tackling/running.

Not sure it is realistic to expect high possession numbers just yet, seeing as he basically hasn't played with the side before. It's going to take a few games to get him going properly.

COOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!

Because it sounds like a South American soccer commentator when a goal is scored, and Col will kick goals, and the World Cup is on, and so on.

Actually it would look stupid as a banner. But when (yes, when) he kicks a goal the cheersquad can shout it as one. That would be great.

You'd say if Tiges lose this one Hardwick's head's on the block... and no left hook will stop Ser Ilyn Payne from doing justice.

He is contracted until the end of 2016, so it would be stupid to sack him now.

They should save the cash and spend the money on recruitment and development. So based on that Richmond will probably sack him ;)

I was thinking yesterday after the teams were announced that we could be ending Hardwick's senior coaching career this weekend. If we knock them out in the first quarter and steamroll them from there it could happen.

They're a big enough club to afford it, I reckon.

Has the team steamrolled anyone aside from Geelong in the first quarter this year?

I expect another grinding game for the first half.

You would have to be the ultimate masochist to take over from Hardwick.
I think they, like the Saints and the Lions of last year, are a case of the entrenched culture of the administration hampering the efforts of the main coach. They will keep being MOTR until they do something about the back room people.

Fair call, although we've only just hit our straps. Given the rain forecast I doubt it will be a blowout if we win anyway.

Thrashings of Richmond have been historically rare - only one 10 goal win for Freo over them in 2002, and the next best being a 49 point win in 2010 during that run where they lost their first nine games and had a percentage of 50%.

Richmond are crap this year, but nowhere near as crap as their usual standard.
