That’s about spot on mate.
Sexton definitely needs to be dropped, can’t keep gifting him games on early season form.
If he can’t run through the midfield or defend inside 50 he’s useless.
He has become a liability the past month.
He covered the most ground for both team on Saturday with 15.6 kilometres but it’s a waste of energy if you are having 0 impact on the game.

And he’s not an on field leader, teammate stop listening when you continue to burn them so much

No doubt he has burnt a few

The actual players themselves talk him up as a leader

Need a major cull in the bottom section of the list that can't make an impact at NEAFL level. Nutting, Leslie, Schoenfeld, Nicholls, Day, Heron, Wigg don't appear to be AFL standard.
 
Lukosius down back is a must.

That last quarter showed really good signs with his kicking ability and providing run up the field.

The added bonus is that he can go and get the ball and not constantly have the ball kicked over his head by our teams poor skills.

King and 2MP make us top heavy enough. Get Ah Chee up forward, with Sexton and throw Darcy, Miller and Holman through there until Izak is right and I think there is more balance to the team.

Let Luko get his education by playing him on the best 3rd talls in the game each week.

Ballard completely unsighted has me bemused. But take the good news when it comes.

Agree with most of that except for Day - he's definitely capable. A bigger issue is what happens if Luko, King and Rankine don't extend. Martin looks like he is on the move and then there's Brodie another possible exit. Ah Chee is also a potential flight risk so will be an interesting time around the list table. We MUST get these guys signed or the drain just continues. You can afford to offload the NEAFL guys who haven't performed but not keep losing our long term potential players.

I don't mind keeping Sam day but if he is asking too much for his contract (money and length) no point keeping him, GCS is not a charity team that offer average players for long term contract. You don't offer 550K /4 year contract for a player playing NEAFL. lukosius, Ballard, Powell King, Rankine will all start to get that kind of money 400k/450k in 2021/2020. Sam day is Unrestricted free agent too,you can't actually match what other team offer.

St Kilda got a rookie ruckman - albeit talented and along with us probably the worst midfield in the league. Ross, Dunstan, Steele, Billings, Gresham, Newnes - Only guy I'm worried about is Gresham. 24.5 possessions/game in wins vs. 20/game in losses - barometer for them.

Witta should be able to give us first hand on ball
Swallow, Martin, Brodie, Fiorini, Miller, Miles, Macpherson, Powell need to try take advantage.
