Ladder after Round 13

Code:
Pos Team P W L D F A % Pen Pts

1 Southern Dragons 13 9 4 0 1322 1196 110.54 0 36
2 West Coast Wonders 13 8 5 0 1367 1196 114.30 0 32
3 Fighting Furies 13 8 5 0 1141 1147 99.48 0 32
4 Mod Squad 13 7 6 0 1205 1197 100.67 0 28
5 East Side Hawks 13 6 7 0 1291 1203 107.32 4 20
---------------------------------------------------------------------
6 Baghdad Bombers 13 5 8 0 1111 1214 91.52 3 17
7 Geelong Gumbies 13 5 8 0 1099 1274 86.26 3 17
8 Mount Buller Demons 13 4 9 0 1211 1330 91.05 1 15

Round 13 sees the Southern Dragons move into top spot, displacing the Wonders after defeating them by 26 points. The Wonders are now second and their four losses in a row puts them right back to the pack now and right within the clutches of the Furies who are equal on points with the Wonders on 32.

The Furies remain third after winning against a woefully inaccurate Mod Squad at Punt Road but their percentage could become a hurdle when finals spots are being decided. The Mods are still fourth and despite their loss are only one win off a top two spot at the moment.

East Side have won three in a row now and move into 5th place, two games behind the mod team. Their percentage is impressive too for a side that has lost more games than they have won and they're up to 20 points now. Baghdad's loss sees them slip out of the five back to sixth but they are still less then a game away from the top five. Their percentage won't be a problem come finals due to their 3 point penalty but they need to win more games than they lose now to get back into 5th spot. The Gumbies' win takes off the bottom and into 7th, they too are in a similar position to the Bombers with their three point penalty meaning they are less than a game behind the Hawks. However, their percentage may hurt them if they go head-to-head with the Bombers for 5th spot as their percentage is significantly inferior at this point.

The Demons are now in last and have an ever-expanding losing streak which is starting to get too long for them now. They are more than a game outside the five and with the amount of games left dwindling they really must start winning if they want to play finals footy.

Demons in last place where we belong after our recent form which has been disgraceful.

We really need to pull our heads in if we want to achieve anything this year boys!

Can you smell that?

It's fear, the Gumbies are coming!
Yes the smell of fear...everyone is so scared of the bloody gumbies. With a name like that, you should make a children's show...oh wait...

But in all seriousness, the gumbies have recovered. And the dees have stalled. From holding onto 5th for weeks on end, we have slid dramatically. Not good enough.

Internet is going snail pace at the moment. Kind of thing that happens when a brother downloads close to the limit in 3 days. Will do my best with the games but it may be a case of only the scorecards being posted if it doesn't improve. Hopefully its all okay though.

For SoO Rick, can we have the threads up sometime this week and the 1st round to be next Wednesday. Up to you for who plays who:D

Gotcha. I'll do the threads now and make deadline for team submission Monday night at 9.

If anyone wants to do a writeup for the matches please let me know, as I really could not be bothered doing them.

Actually before I do them, do we have logos for the teams somewhere?
