So if I was ranked 274 in round 2, and I bottomed out in round 11 at 12,911, and I’m on the way up and there is 23 rounds, then I can still win $50,000? Amirite?

this week bAps@SCT is #1 with a score of 29,462

Par 1 for this week = (29,462 - 27,465) = 1,997

So how do I interpret “par 1” of 1997?

PAR X is the score of the Xth position - example :
previous Round Team A is ranked 100th and has a total of 20,000 pts.
oncd the round is completed, Team B is now ranked 100th and has a total or 22,000 pts.
PAR 100 is 22,000 - 20,000 = 2,000 .

it means the 100th position has "advanced" by 2,000 pts , and it allows to compare your "speed" (how many points you score ) versus the various positions

said differently, if your score is superior to PAR X , it mains you are gaining ground on position X .
(if you are behind, the spread is getting smaller - if you are ahead, the spread is growing)
