What pisses me off is his stubbornness with his system. Not only he refuses to tag but also refuses to make changes to his system when things are not working.

As for Windhager's tag. It was a good battle. When umpires allow constant grabbing, holding, wrestling it's up to teammates to help Touk and step up. It rarely happened. Moving Touk around is another logical option. Touk can run all day, play on the wing, forward, back. Humphrey was close to useless forward, swapping him with Touk is just one example. No, Dimma believes that his plan, system will eventually prevail. Dimma's argument was we were not playing fast enough to utilize Touk properly. Just maybe you should instruct the team to play faster, take the game on.
damn that's a good call. i think we moved him down back for a tiny bit, but swapping permanently with humphrey to get him into the game in the guts could have been a good magnet switch. he was really good when he was the sub up in darwin and played mostly on ball, not getting much from him lately. really seemed like we didn't adapt well to the whole rossball game style all match. what a boring, shitty game that was!

Somehow just sat through the replay of the game, as I watched it live at the ground, something that the TV cameras don't pick up, is how good Bodhis positioning is. For a young bloke who only played 14 games, his ability to read when to peel off and affect a contest or go for a intercept is outstanding. Chucky Ballard has been around for a lot longer and still doesn't understand how to defend as well as Bodhi. He is going to be a very good defender for a long long time.

Holman and fiorini have become liabilities. Holman had -3 fantasy points at half time was ok in the last quarter when the coach tried him more on the ball

I’m a huge fan of Walter but any momentum he had up until he was rested has gone he is struggling big time to get any touch now and is really unsettling the forward line. Send him to the vfl let him kick a couple of bags and get some confidence

Moyle is getting better with more games but I would bring Witts in for freo and Collingwood then let moyle have another go against north

Coach was too slow at making any changes especially with miller should’ve put him forward for a while being heavily tagged and having zero impact in the middle
Still a lot of dew game plan habits in transition forward when pressure is on

Jeffrey Uwland Andrew Collins becoming a solid backline

Is he wrong? We haven't won a game on the road for 13 months.
Comparing our players to crying kids, making crying sounds? Stupid joke, IMO. Especially from Garry who always goes on and on with one observation he somehow discovered.

Sure, we struggle on the road, considering how young we are, no big surprise. How many games Crows, Eagles, North, Hawks won on the road, and they usually play older lineups.

It will turn eventually.

IMO, Saints loss is on Dimma. Did he try to outfox RTB? It was no accident we started the game like that. Never seen playing our team like that (not even under Dew). Embarrassing chipping, no dare plan. Just quickly bombing it inside50 would be more efficient.

I suspect, if we played from the start like in the last quarter, we won comfortably despite Saints being much older and more experienced team.

Teams that have beaten St Kilda have either battered them in the middle like the Demons or played fast and aggressive like Port, and the Suns did neither. The major factor in this has to be the experience in the Suns backline and wings. Sexton, Flanders, Jeffrey and Uwland have played probably less than 50 games between them off halfback and if you throw in Clohesy there really isn’t a lot of footy IQ to feed off.

The Suns looked immature in Q4 and would have been down more against a better side. It’s good to be involved in more close games like the last two weeks. We haven’t had that many. Just 6 games going back through 2023 have been decided by 2 goals or less. This should be beneficial in the long run.

That's good to read, Bodhi's positioning and anticipation of hi opponent's leading patterns were terrible early in the season, to improve that quickly is remarkable.
