Seems more because of injury than smart selection, but thank **** we're not taking 3 rucks to the mcg again (and hopefully never see it again).
Would've liked to see what Buller had before delisting but obviously we've put a line through him already...still atleast Francis has some understanding of playing forward and will actually move not just stand there uselessly (although a gamble what he'll produce).Hanily a natural forward so at least there's some forwards brought in.
Mitchell & Cleary stiff. Lloyd very, very lucky (wonder if Roberts wasn't ill whether Cox would've had the stomach to make that call). Bice pretty lucky on recent form too. Seems a bit defender heavy, but maybe Blakey or Bice can move up the ground.
Time for Mills to start being present and start leading us out of this hole.

You gotta make the most out of a shit season not persisting with senior players who are past it
Whether he was or wasn't in the injury report, I'm sure the injury was being looked after by the medical staff. Maybe they were too busy with step 10 and getting an urgent update out for our benefit. Do we really need up to the second updates.

The injury report exists so the fans know about injuries to players.
It’s not that hard. The work experience kid could do it.

100% drop Lloyd before Mitchell
Can understand if they said we are dropping Mitchell because Gulden is coming back in, but they have dropped Mitchell to keep Bice and Lloyd in the side and put Mills on a wing/half back

Buller is a Claremont boy, so I'm duty-bound to pump up his tyres.
But unfortunately, he just isn't quite good enough. Francis is a better AFL player & McLean is evidently still rated higher within the club.
The cynic in me says we can't afford to dump McLean - he's signed until 2027 (sigh) and there's no trade value in a VFL player.

In fairness, Mitchell was kinda lucky to be selected in the first place. His VFL form wasn't great & he's seemingly reached a ceiling.
I think "disgrace" is a tad over-the-top.

He had improved and has got a good upside and he can go in, the disgrace is that Cox hasn't got the guts to drop blokes that are washed up and letting us down week to week
