Hodge said on tv last night that Sicily should go to chb and Battle to a wing

I suggested in another thread yesterday that Scrimshaw should be eyeing off Morrison's defensive wing spot as a way to fit back into the side. Battle to the wing is the same principle, although probably better suited with his running power.

I don't think it will happen though as I'm sure the focus is still to get Battle and Barrass to build familiarity with each other and the backline structure.

Also we don't know for certain that Sicily can't fit back in without effecting the balance. He's been carrying that hip injury for pretty much the whole season but still had some great games in there.

Makes sense in hindsight. I thought he was good early (including in stints up forward) then his form dropped significantly. Really hope he can make a full recovery.

Well, there has been a rule change or two that have effected that.

The moment the wiz went into the middle the whole game turned. As a midfielder he is frighteningly fast.

The more ability he can find to run in to contests and not be scragged or blocked his always undefendable. He could almost be a centre bounce specialist mid as the best in the comp.

Setterfield’s run down on Holmes was far better. Holmes unlike Watson is known for his straight line speed. And further to that actually knew he had someone on his tail that he was trying to burn off.
