Cmon Hamish, Pepper coming off a knee reconstruction and limited pre season. You can’t seriously tell me you’d pick Richards ahead of Pepper in this Port team.

Yeah and Richards has played 21 games of football in arguably the hardest position on the field. I can’t think of many other high half forward who have played as consistently as Joe has at that stage. I think they are both important.

Liddy was good. His disposal was instinctive and sure besides a couple. Didnt see him much in the third quarter thought he got subbed

Dante has the knack of bumping blokes post disposal and that alone justfies his place in the team. Sweet on the otherhand played second ruck against Van Rooyen and still looked like McEntee at AFL level

No ones talking about Sinn. I thought he was pretty clean and brave. Watch Mani Liddys guernsey presentation back and see how much Sinn is mucking around and getting around the lads. He clearly loves the club

Yeah. wtf was that about? The sun was drifting behind the heritage listed moreton bay trees behind the hill in the 3rd qtr and you needed to turn on your smartphone light to see the person next to you.

What kills me looking over the replay, is how little the Fox commentators know the rules.

Melksham in the last gets done for an unrealistic attempt, they start justifying it. Everyone knows if you dont clearly touch the ball, it is paid. It was a clear free, but all the commentators do is breed confusion with their ignorance.

Again, earlier in the game, May behind Georgiades, wraps arms around him and throws Georgiades to the side. A clear holding the man free, something you are clearly not able to do, but the commentators again are a bit 50/50 on it and basically talk like they dont want to say anything but Melbourne should be pissed the free was paid. IT was a clear free FFS.

The commentators ignorance drives me crazy.

Accept I’m an outlier here but apart from the usual Armageddon oversell from Dwayno on just about anything I didn’t much mind the fox call today.

Would love to know how much Ricciuto’s getting paid though. Pipes up with a bleeding obvious one liner that we can all see/hear for ourselves (‘it’s getting a bit willing down here boys’) a few times in a quarter in a voice that could strip paint.

Put together a 4 quarter effort finally.

Still wasn’t perfect by any stretch but was probably our best game over 4 quarters for the season.

Georgiades you beauty, been threatening to do this all season. Still missed 3 sitters so could’ve had 10 but 7.4 was awesome. Hopefully this is the start of him going to another level.

Rozee has to be in the AA team, I find it nuts he wasn’t in most mid season AA teams, he is the best half back in the game right now.

JHF what a first game back. Was pure class, narrowly missed 3 goals in the opening term. Was moving well. Had 29 despite missing most of the last quarter.

Esava you beast, hopefully he takes so much confidence from that game. If it wasn’t for georgiades dominating and kicking 7 he would’ve been the best player on the ground.

Oh it’s you again. Richards is a very average footballer who has done very little all season. The bar is low at the club though as he only needs to eclipse Mead’s output to keep his place, yet he didn’t even muster that milestone today.

Richards is why we've only seen McEntee once this season. For that reason alone, he deserves his place in the side
