David King hatched the pre-game revelation that we’re a bit like GWS in that we rely on individual talent rather than any sort of effective system to win games.

Welcome to 2015, Kingy.

And it isn't just when we have the ball. Watch how when an opponent has the football and two, three, even four Port players all run at him to make the tackle, leaving free opposition players to receive an easy handball in space. We lack genuine cohesion and purpose in all aspects.

its almost like we're being poorly coached by someone. maybe a head coach.

It was easy, he has stats.
You know, I picked up on the fact that Port Adelaide started the game with 18 players on the field.

Now get this. You take the players they sent to the bench and compare it to the players that came off the bench, its a 1:1 ratio. Theyve kept 18 players on the field the entire game. It allows them to maximie their chances of individual brilliance.

And you know that Ken Hinkley knows that his team is great individually, in that this mirrors how his opponent is setting up. If you look here, you'll see that Ken arranges 18 on 18 at all times during the game. Even backs them in when injuries strike, still with the 18 on 18.
This is really exciting to see, I expect that other coaches will pick up on this and try to either copy him, or exploit this by trying to get 19 or 20 onto the field.

They all get a pressure stat though, which is nice
