Other Teams
Western Force
Backs: Hayden McPharlin Thornton
Half-backs: Johnson Grover Dodd
Centres: Black Bell Haselby
Half-forwards: Tarrant Pavlich Headland
Forwards: Farmer Murphy Warnock
Followers: Sandilands J Carr Solomon
Interchange: Schammer M Carr Crowley McManus (his spot is under pressure now)

Emergencies: Mundy (unlucky) Gilmore (unlucky good effort as a mobile ruckman) Parker (was ordinary in 1st quarter when pressure was on, he's okay when team not under pressure, shouldn't be an automatic selection anymore!)

In: Sandilands Tarrant Crowley (need him to be his hard nut best against this week)
Out: Parker Mundy Gilmore

Going to be a cracker! Our best team available this week and Sydney are down on last years form. Great opportunity to get the season back on track with an inspiring win in Sydney.

r u kidding. Mundy played ok, did his job. he looks like he's running in to some form. Stays in, but I agree with the other calls.

I love Mundy!
Only had Mundy out to give him the same kick Crowley should have gotten out of it. We need these guys firing for the run home and when they are they they are in our best 18. I just couldn't think of anyone else to drop, maybe Macca, or M.Carr but they seem to be protected species.

OUT: S PARKER (yes he kicked a goal, & played OKAY, but geez)
MURPHY (Any other ground bar Scg, he would be playing)
GILMORE (Embarrasing as a Ruckman)

IN: SANDILANDS
TARRANT
CROWLEY

Agree with your ins and outs and all of your reasons/explainations except the one about Gilmore.

I'd take Foster over as the emergency.

Mundy's form has been better lately. He should have been dropped when he was playing poorly, but I wouldn't drop him this week. Crowley can have atleast one more week at Subi.

In- Tarrant, Sandilands
Out- Gilmore Murphy

If Murphy plays well for South's I'd bring him back in for the game against the Kangaroos.

Looks like it'll be a fine but cool day.

UPDATED SYDNEY FORECAST

Issued at 4:30 pm EST on Monday 2 July 2007

Sunday Mostly fine.

Out Parker
Murphy

In Tazza
Sandi

At a ground where CHF becomes redundant Gilmore's run/ long kicking / flexibility could be a key. Tell Happy to tag Goodes and see if he has learned anything.................

If Gilmore goes to Goodes we will lose the game... Get Dodd on him

Pretty harsh on Gilmore, I definately wouldn't call his efforts against full time ruckman embarrasing, he gives us great flexibillity.

If they drop Murphy it will shatter his confidence and remember alot of last years success is owed to him so lets see if he can repeat it.

HE GIVES US
COMIC RELIEF

I reckon He will play this week. Has pace , can tackle and kick long. He was also a bit of a clearance mahine against the blooze.

If Murphy plays we can have multiple marking targets in the forward 50 and it won't matter if he sprays a few kicks as long as they go in the general direction of the forward 50. :)

At the moment it would be difficult to argue that Murphy is a bigger contributor than Gilmore.

So if Murphy and Gilmore play who misses out?

Gilmore did do well in the clearances on the weekend, but you're not suggesting we play him in the square alongside Sandi/Warnie?

Gilmore will go out. Sure he played well against Carlton, but who didn't? All he showed on the weekend was that he can play when there is zero pressure. Sydney rely on their intense pressure to win games - now is not the time to be giving chances to players who have demonstrated that they don't perform when the heat is on.

In: Sandilands, Tarrant
Out: Gilmore, Parker

Leave crowley in the WAFL another week. Not one of the midfield had a bad game against Carlton and dont deserve to be dropped. Closest was M. Carr but he saved his spot in the side for another week when he got 26 possessions and used it pretty well.

Gilmore was the late inclusion for Sandilands so by reasoning he should replace young happy.

I think Parker has played his last game of footy for Freo, he looks out of place at AFL level these days. Wasnt so long ago i couldnt imagine a dockers side without him in it. Grover, McPharlin, Johnson, Mundy, Hayden and Thornton...(id like solomon down there) are more than capable of manning up any side in the competition and win. Parker out for Tarrant.

Lets see this...

HF: Tarrant Pavlich Solomon/Mundy

FF: Farmer Murphy Headland

Pretty potent....

Sort of agree Pistol ...

Hope they leave Spud in, even though his stats were`nt high, watched him closely last week and was impressed with him. Seems to work very well with the Wiz.

Syd are ripe for the taking, we have our best side in for the first time this year and all we need to do is stop syd getting a run on in one quarter as they normally do. Syd at the SCG & Brisbane at the Gabba do it to us everytime. One quarter they blow us out of the water.

GO DOCKERS .:thumbsu:

Parker will stay in because they're trying to bolster the defence. Gilmour will be an emergency for Sandi -- who I don't think will play.

Cook is more likely to play than Crowley because he is a good antidote to Sydney's style of play, and he always seems to play well in Sydney. Probably because he played there for a couple of seasons.

The keys to this game will be Warnock, Bell, Haselby and Josh Carr, and kicking straight. If we can win enough ball and we hit our shots it won't matter what Sydney does.
