If Walsh goes 100+ again:
Corbett/Answerth -> Rookie
Stack -> Gus Brayshaw
Balta -> Stewart/other premo defender (via Gardner)

or

If Walsh does poorly:
Stack -> Rookie
Walsh -> Neale
Balta -> Stewart/other premo defender (via Gardner)

Every time you think of trading Gus in, go and have a cold shower

Would end up being my M9 in a few weeks. Think there's some value

Still trading Stack. Don’t have the cash to get Kelly if I keep him around (unless he has a lower B/E than Walsh).

Higher B/E becomes Treloar (think he’s primed to be a top 7) this week and Kelly the following.

You’re spending your time and 423k worrying about an M9 at Round 13? You’re doing it wrong.

Get D1-D6, M1-M8, R1-R2, F1-F6 at full Premo, ensure 5 trades and 100k left for injuries and the like, THEN whatever’s left over worry about your bench with.

Probably wont trade so will have the bare minimum 18 playing.

Only really want to do 1 more trade to complete my team and that's in round 15 - Baker > Sloane via T.Kelly.

$144,800 and 6 trades left.

Your team is not “complete” with Smith and Duursma in there IMO

It looks I have to keep one of these:
Smith at D6
Duursma at D6
Walsh at M8
Rozee at F6 or D6

Which one?

Ignore byes, breakevens and price.

Undoubtedly Walsh is the best scorer but may be leaking more points to a mid premo.
Need a few more days to answer that. If Walsh goes 100+ again then something has changed with the new coach.
But Walsh or Smith

Smith is fine at D6 imo. Last week was an outlier, was nowhere to be seen. Last night kicking efficiency let him down. Will be better after the break having hardly played last year. ~85 avg for D6 is fiiiine

I agree Steve. A break will do Smith good. We've seen him go on a mini run of 6-7 games where he averages mid 90's already this season, so hopefully he can replicate a similar run down the back stretch. He's an experienced player now with a reasonably SC friendly role, so it's not beyond him.
