Sorry, but it's a ridiculous question. Apart from being fairly sideways, McLeod's out for 3-4 weeks, which could turn into more. What do you expect people to say? How is McLeod relevant to the "Round 14 Trades" thread? If you're wanting to offload Ellis, look elsewhere. Myers is $30k cheaper, fit and on the up!! :thumbsu: Or Wilkes... or Taylor... or someone else playing. :thumbsu:

I have Goodes suspended, with an upgrade for Masten long over due, while also having Salopek out for 2-3 weeks!

I also hav Cornes doubtful while Andrew Mcleod is out for 2-3 weeks due to Knee surgery!

My bench for my backs is A.Proud and J.Edwards while my bench for my centres are J.Geary and S.Browne.

I hav 151k in the bank wit 4 trades left.

What should i do?

But seriously, that's some pretty bad luck you've had there.

Keeping Goodes is obvious, but other moves depend on whether you're willing to eat a 0. If you dont want a zero, I'd strongly consider trading out Chad or McLeod - but this depends on whether you're aiming for league wins or just shutting up shop (saving trades) until finals.

Proud is killing me also - it would be a godsend if he were to come in this week. I have Armfield who is out a few weeks sadly. Unless Chad or Proud plays, I'll be copping the zero in the backs.

Question to all - I am tempted to trade Delidio to N.Riewoldt. It adds $30K to my bank and would give me a nice upgrade in the forwards (Porps is my only other forward I'd consider trading excluding bench) - even though it could be considered sideways and I probably need the upgrade more in the centres or backs.

And also - best current downgrade for C.Rioli? Jarryd Morton (+ $50K to bank), Cleve Hughes (+ $50K to bank), Chris Mayne (+ $35K to bank) or Robbie Gray (+ $35K to bank)?

Would love a cheaper downgrade (around $100-$150K) but I just don't see anything available.

Any thoughts?

For me dont trade Deledio to Volt unless you have trades flying all around the place and can do it.

For the downgrade of Rioli.. Valenti?? IMO Go Morton. The obvious one that is capible of getting 90+:thumbsu:

IN: Cross

My team will be so much better as Judd just freaks me out.. i hate having him in the team. He doesnt fit!

Thoughts?

So that will leave me with 4 trades..
 
Don't know what to do this week, have both Burgoyne and Goodes out this week, And only Ward and Selwood as backups. I still have Waters on my bench and am thinking of trading Waters to a playing 100K or less player then sitting on the cash with 4 trades in hand. Could also trade Burgoyne out for Makie but it seems too sideways for me, but with Port now " Tanking " i don't think they will be rushing him back. Any thoughts ?

I like the Judd to Cross trade. I'm a Blues fan but wouldn't consider Judd in my DT side because I just don't think he's right.

You could even look at Sammy Mitchell given his price at the moment, saving you $50K to distribute elsewhere (in the backs?). I have Crossy and he rarely lets me down (even if he does hand pass too much!).

I agree with your thoughts about my proposed trades. I already have Valenti, by the way. And I have 6 trades, so they're not exactly flying all over the place. :D

I'm considering for this week:

Rioli to Morton (a week or two too late I realise, but a reasonable downgrade?)

and then the round after, most likely (depending on breakevens):

Wellingham to Corey/Mitchell/Carazzo/Hodge

From that point on I'll have to sit on my 4 trades until finals.

Ranked in the top 2,000 for now, obviously not aiming at overall - just my league. Thanks for the tips Porps! :thumbsu:
 
I am a massive lover of Palmer despite I go for the mighty cattas but as I said before I only have six trades left but should I trade little Rhys for Sam Mitchell coz then I would have 30K in the bank if I do

Hang on to goodes, browne should play this week, salopek hmm i would say get rid of him and upgrade to a premium midfielder. You might want to trade off mcleod for someone aswell, i dont know who thats what im trying to figure out just now.


I have a nice dilemna as well, im sure many people who be asking this as well, but who should i get rid off, Burgoyne or Chad. Im only getting rid of one of them and then trading them in for the best backliner i can find, but thats the issues there are none! I already have Heath Shaw, Gram, Gilbee, Brennan, Johncock, Burgoyne and Chad, so who should i trade in?

Who is the best remaining player in the backline. Money is no issue at all for me (258k, 5 trades) but i am stumpted to who will score the most for me. Im thinking someone along the lines of mackie, fisher, mcmahon, guerra, newman, milburn.

Help greatly appreciated, Im sure there are a few people out there withe the same issue and it would help them aswell, thanks.

Mitchell is defs a gun but I wouldnt feel comfortable with him. Another option is Goodwin!!?

Corey will probably go down if he only gets his usual 90 (his B/E is 112) so I think he will be an awesome pickup.

Alright.. you are a bit skrewed but ill try to help you out.
Now for me I would upgrade Salopek to a premium.. some bargains are Cross, Goodwin, Corey, Bartel, Mitchell

Now Goodes is a bit of a worry with only 4 trades left. Maybe keep him as you are running low on trades.

Cornes apparently isnt playing and Bunji should deffiently be traded out.

For me upgrade bunji to Birch or some bargain and be hopefull that Cornes plays.

This is the only way that you wont get a 0.

I don't think you can go wrong with Crossy if that's your price range Porps. I've had Cross all season and he's been brilliant.

It's a tough game this DT. I traded Bowden OUT before last round for Bock. Hopefully it pays off in the long run, but it cost me 105 points last week! :eek:

Well i would definitely wait until the teams our out to see if Chad is playing or not. If he is i still think you should trade him, and if he doesn't then you should trade him (also you don't have anyone to cover for him).

So i would trade out Cornes then worry about Wonna.

Going to have to disagree with you Porps. I'm chooing to ignore the 'I would love to have him in my team' and the 'I wouldn't feel comfortable with him'. I also don't see the reasoning behind picking Cross based on his consistancy. I seem to recall you are doing quite well for yourself overall so I assume that is what you are concentrating on. If that is the case consistancy shouldn't bother you it's the overall points scored in the end.

I also would advise against Cross whilst West is out. In the 4 games West has played Cross has averaged 117. In the remaining games without West, Cross has averaged just 92. I don't imagine West will be back in the near future so I would hold off on a Cross trade.
 
Gee I wish I took Cross instead of Priddis in round 2 or 3 though Dazza. He may not score as well w/o West but is still a proven gun so shouldn't average below 90-95 from now on but I wouldn't pick him based on consistency though Porpz. How much cash do you have Porpz?

Big 160+ this week Priddis to repay some faith!
