No ones arguing bucks could coach a defensive system, but that’s only 1 part of a game plan. How many years have the pies struggled with forward connection/ and ball movement. If you constantly struggle with that, hence struggle to score goals, it’s not a coherent game plan.

Having someone of longmuires quality in the chair next to him for a couple of seasons definitely helped him a lot.

Oh, I know. Why do you think many pies have been frustrated with the game plan over the last 18 months. But if you move the ball quick and have better connection than the pies did, then this sort of game plan can work. He liked to use defence to provide your offence.

That’s the point though, isn’t it up to him to make it work. He had trouble with it ‘15-‘17, they got it right for a year or 2 then had the same issues again.
