It was a very good all round team performance.
Rocky had a hand in at least 3 goals, Zorko back and up running
Thought Hanley played well without being a standout, great goal in the first though
Loved Harwood's game... good solid defender !!
Staker, Merrett & Brown were good targets up forward but doubt that will occur next week

Very solid win. Ablett or no Ablett it was never going to be a easy. Suns going to be a force in the future their is no doubting that. They just need some decent forwards.

Our boys were excellent with the pressure they applied and we were much better with the ball than we have been for a long time. Showed composure and took the right options. Skills have improved dramatically but of course still got plenty of improvement.

Don't like to harp on umpiring but it's becoming a joke when we play the Suns. Is their an AFL directive to the umpires. The free kick to Campbell Brown was disgusting. Cost us a goal. Maguire goes up for a mark Bennell gives him a shove in mid air and no free kick and another Suns goal. Ball gets kicked long to Browny who gets hammered and it 's play on. That's just a few of the terrible calls tonight.

Browny has been great last 2 weeks. Zorks was back to his best tonight and as i suspected he would go better when he had Green to assist him. Harwood was solid and should get a good run in the side now.
Mayes outstanding. What a player we have got in him. Luey deserved the medal was superb. Rich needs to work harder when tagged but got better as game wore on.

We actually had the guy who counts the crowd at Metricon do a count, and he had today's crowd at 356 765.

I thought Patfull was great and was better than Goose. Goose took some big grabs but had a few errors too that seriously had me shaking.

I thought Green's game was very good, continual chase, clever use of taps and his pace, great to have him back. Mayes was very good and seems to have a good sense of when to go to the edge of the contest or look to make himself as second or third receiver.

I agree with this. Their speed makes a difference and Mayes ability to sum up and pick the right option is excellent.
