61 point turnaround in the end. So in the 2nd and 4th quarter where Box Hill kicked with the wind advantage they had 42 inside 50s and 27 scoring shots.

Great win, must have been blowing an absolute gale. Thanks for all the updates.

Good to see so many young promising hawks pushing for selection.

From AFL Website.

Harrison Jones and James Cousins were among those who helped engineer a stunning Box Hill comeback as it overran Frankston by 18 points.

Jones picked up 25 disposals and laid 12 tackles while Cousins had 23 disposals and booted 2.2.

The Dolphins entered the clash searching for their second win of the season and that seemed set to happen when they led the Hawks by 43 points at the first break.

However, they were held scoreless in the final term as Box Hill stormed home with seven goals of their own.

Jacob Koschitzke, Teia Miles and Will Golds all finished with two goals apiece while big man Marc Pittonet slotted one himself, along with 21 disposals and 53 hitouts, in the Hawks' 14.18 (102) to 13.6 (84) victory.

Wow! Definition of finishing with a wet sail

Pitts with 21 disposals and 53 hitouts; that's a massive game in horrid conditions
Lots of other contributors across the board too
Kosi snagging a couple will do wonders for his confidence too

High scoring match in the wet and windy weather

Great win, must have been blowing an absolute gale. Thanks for all the updates.

I was running the lines yesterday afternoon for a junior soccer match in Monbulk, so a fair way away from Frankston. The rain was coming in sideways at times during the match (which was shortened and then called off early due to a dangerous pitch).

On the Mornington Peninsula, I can only imagine how windy it would have been at the stadium.
