We need to give Morris a blank cheque to get him to stay long term. We won’t be able to offer him what some vic clubs will, but if we can pull a Geelong and give him enough , hopefully the culture is then what gets him over the line.

Logan is the player we’ve been missing this entire time and he’s landed in our lap.

Will and Levi remind me of Chris and Brad. They both read the play well, they both have great disposal skills (for their age) and are both switched on all game. Just think Will makes better decisions like Chris did.

Agreed, it never fails to shit me off because I want to hate him, but he’s such a good talking head and is always insightful

Awesome performance. Very unlike us we capitalised on our opportunities in what was a much more even game than the scoreboard suggests.

Not a bad performer

McLachlan really offers little apart from marking inside 50. His ground level work is comparable to a ruckman

Zorks ball use very poor again but did well defensively as did the whole backline. His final year

Neale really struggled in the second and third quarters but finished strong

Amazing the turnaround from Kai and Charlie worked hard as well

Cam in career best form. Better than yesterday. The AA squad will be interesting.

Fletcher is perfect for the role he’s playing. Wouldn’t move him back to the wing

Answerth kicking has regressed a bit, needs to be careful with his frees but the umps were hot on the whistle

Fort was mostly very good

Logan is amazing. How many goals since he re-signed?

Wash excellent again. Levi got the right spots but ball use needs a lot of improving. Hopefully the bye refreshes him

And Bailey when he does the contested work he gets reward on the outside. Vital for us. Untradeable

Cam playing out of the goal square deep forward could be a scary good proposition for us in the second half of the year. He’s had a bit of a crack at that role lately and is an actual natural on the lead.

IMO, after tonight, the Lions are the best team we’ve played this year.

Yeah I was harsh on him earlier in the year, and accept he is never going to kick a bag for the club, but I’ve also come around to the thought that I don’t think we can win it all without him. To important structurally to how we play.
