Yer a win tonight would be one of our best H&A wins in the Fagan era. It's been the opposite to what i thought this year.
I thought we would start poorly with a bad pre-season and begin 3-3, with tough games v Swans, Cats, Pies and dogs. Instead we went 5-1
I then thought we were a good chance of going 4-0. We lost to the dees and drew with north for 2-1-1.
Then the tough part with the next 5 games. But i figured we would be up and running by now. I was hoping for 3-2 at worst, and maybe 4-1. 2-3 will be disappointing and in particular going 0-3 at the end.
Funnily enough if we win we will have gone 3-2 through a tough period and including a very close loss v crows and be right in it.
I can't see it but it would really put us back in the frame
So yeah i've probably only said this 46 times but huge game.
Okay i'll do some work now and leave you people alone
Are you Darryl White?
Glad you’re not wearing white!

Fair enough Marty I reckon the players just have to keep it simple sometimes and if you have a player leading or is open in a better position then give it, it's usually the first option . I do get the Umpires have made this hard with the 15m interpretation rule this year. This isn't what most people seem to think but to me there are times to have a ping and we're not very good at working out when that is.
Many times in recent matches we've had good players streaming through the middle of the ground with the goalmouth in front of them and the mental training of doing the 'team' thing clicks in and they look for a short option , maybe someone who's closely marked or in the pocket , don't execute it particularly well because we're at full pace and the ball gets swept away.
The short option's fine if it's there but if it goes to someone like Charlie he still has to kick it.
Not looking forward to the commentators w@&king off to Geelong and danger tonight
Well we don't have a Joe Daniher anymore who could sink it from 60m. Those are absolute team lifters.Fair enough Marty I reckon the players just have to keep it simple sometimes and if you have a player leading or is open in a better position then give it, it's usually the first option . Just get's the hairs on the back of my neck up when we go long to a contest and lose it and there was a shorter free easier option. Say 15.5meters away simples .
Hopefully not as bad as the Collingwood game but probably a 5 or 6 goal loss I think

Remember the Adelaide game.
We walked in thinking of a loss and almost rolled them on home deck if not for 0.8 in Q4.
I think we can roll Geelong. Boys will be up for it.
Did anyone watch Oscar in the 2s? How was he moving?
If he is fit i would have played him v the cats - i thought he was KILLING Stanley in the PF before he got injured.
This we seem the worst team in the comp for thisSTOP CORRALLING , TACKLE THE MUG.
Dominated the hitouts against smaller opposition, not sure there were many hitouts to advantage. Some big punches forward. Didn’t need to jump to win hitouts. Took at least one mark in the goal square against some opposition. I thought the best part of his game was his physicality around the contest. Bulldozed his way through the pack taking the ball forward. Something that has been missing in the firsts.Did anyone watch Oscar in the 2s? How was he moving?
