ok heres some reasons

ben griffiths is playing, tigers have never lost when he plays.

sure every year except this year carlton has smashed us but the second time its usually 20-30 points. seeing as though they could only beat us by 20 points in round 1 this year, i expect it to be just as close and even possibly win.

put it this way, if the trend follows its possible BUT im not betting on it cause you never know when it comes to carlton (for richmond anyway). heres hoping

Very few people who follow Fremantle are confident about this game. I backed GC myself. Freo are no certainties.

yeah i know that but im looking at it from a richmond point of view aren't i.

and we covered this line vs carlton last time we played, this year. so its not like its a guarantee that carlton will cover either.

Of course you can. But if you're punting based on bias and hope...well, you're unlikely to come out on top.

FWIW I actually don't think it'll be a blowout. I'm tipping a 5-6 goal win to Carlton, so if the line was a little further out (+35ish) then I would've taken it.
 
Lot of faith shown in the GC on this board... Rischitelli is out and from memory Crowley goes alright on Ablett. Its Pav's 250th I think the GC will go down by around 10 goals.

Crowley's reputation on Ablett was established in 2008 but Ablett got injured early in both games and missed the following game(s) as a result. Ablett absolutely caned Fremantle in the last three games.

Backing Fremantle or Melbourne is something I don't intend to do anymore. Bi-polar teams are not worth the time researching.
 
Freo will destroy GC today. GC have the worst looking forward line i've seen them go with. They will struggle to score. No Risky hurts more than Sandi being out for Freo.
