Prediction Round 15- Changes v Essendon at Optus

Why would Ras go out? Not sure why he was subbed, was one of the better players before that.

Draper has to go though, absolute liability at the moment. If AP isn’t ready just play OMac.

12 touches in 3 quarters, just the one tackle. He did have 7 contested though.

Fyfe with 9 touches in a qtr.

Duds for Switta, Fyfe for Ras with Ras to be the sub is what I expect.

The plan will be to sub Fyfe or Darcy out during the game, probably Darcy with his history and the short turnaround.

Beat me to it and surprised this wasn’t the first post in this thread. He lacks confidence and game awareness. Hes such a liability anywhere on the park.

Out: Banfield
In: Anyone with two legs

Nonsense.

Was very solid last night.

Doing a great job playing out of his normal position.

I agree that is probably what will happen, but the raw stats can be misleading.

Those tackle numbers seem harsh to me, I saw him lay at least 4 or 5 "tackles". But sometimes they don't count officially. For example he almost brought Xerri down in a bear hug, but the man mountain forced his way free and dumped a handball out, and I don't think that counts as a tackle on the stats sheet.

Ras only had 44% TOG because he was on the bench for a lot of those 3 quarters. Compared to Fyfe 28% TOG. So their possession count isn't actually that big a discrepancy, as for Ras to have got the ball at the same rate as Fyfe, it would be 14 touches instead of the 12 he actually had.

I didn't see Erasmus do anything except turn it over..

As opposed to Fyfe?
Purple coloured glasses I think, two good clearances and then a liability outside of that.

Playing with fire keeping Banners in defence.

Out: Banfield (Wagner moves back)
In: Drizzy

Rawlings said on radio Pearce would miss the Essendon game.

Wagner can’t go back.

He is way to vital to the midfield structure.

We're probably stuck with Banfield until Walker gets back in.

Surprised at that too.
He was everywhere in the first quarter. Only 1 tackle? That’s misleading.

He has another 2 weeks today for next game v St Kilda. Definitely will be getting that extra time. Go all out for Thursday then it’s a 10 day break.

Can see Fyfe not playing this week and play Peel on the weekend or training block.

Banfield will stay in until Walker is available. Maybe even v St Kilda if not definitely Sydney the week after.

Out: Draper, Switta
In: Davies, Dudley

Hopefully Switta doesn't miss much because he was back to his best and making criticisms of him look silly.

Davies deserves a go and Draper is not playing well enough to keep him out IMO.

Live at the game I thought Fyfe was quite poor with a few substandard efforts and a dropped mark that he was lucky wasnt punished. Writing seems to be on the wall for him and Ras to swap at s minimum but I hope not.

One more week for NOD at Peel before I bring him in for Sharp.

With Darcy building, I need another week of evidence of midfield Dogga to see if this can work though I agree on principle that the team is better structured for this week if it was a Jackson / Voss combo
