Round 15: Changes vs Carlton + Pre-match Discussion

Cripps has worn a pretty hard tag the last 2 or 3 weeks, if Tucker can do a job on him, then it will be a lay down misere.
I don't know if Tucker can do that job or think he's done enough over the last two weeks to keep his spot. Banfield is/was the tagging specialist with all the big scalps last year. However RTB said we're not a tagging team this year. Like to see a spot for Nyhuis as well.

Sorry but Ross gonna have to. We’re in dire straits and stopping or nullifying Cripps would help us significantly. Banfield would take it with both hands IMO. If we want to win, stop Cripps. Ross surely should know that.

A real danger game. The blues have nothing to lose.
apart from the game. they could lose that.

sorry I need coffee but I get your point though, there's no expectations on them which gives them freedom to play however they want, which is dangerous for us

Geez some Lily livened panicking going on in this thread. We are far too organised for a poorly structured and inexperienced Carlton. Even with injuries I feel relaxed in forecasting a comfortable win with a fair chance of it turning into a flogging.

They generally haven't been flogged this year. They have had a couple of howlers but not like last year where you basically filled out a form at the start of the match for how much you'd like to beat them by.

Problem is there’s a few times this season Freo didn’t front up. Gold Coast and Essendon particularly.
Carlton will come out early. It’s not going to be as easy as most would think

Yeah not at home. Not saying its not going to happen, but it's unlikely.

I’m always a bit doubtful about Cam being in the team so I hope he thinks he’s playing North zMelbourne

Last time on our deck, Carlton didn't embarrass themselves. Expect them to take it up to us.

Is Lobb a chance?
Report says he's up and running...I reckon name Lobb and play him deep

Lobb(McCarthy) and Cerra for Hogan and SHill

Won’t risk it. Maybe get him every chance for the Derby next week.
Colyer in for Bewley is silly. Colyer coughs up too many turnovers for mine, plus Bewley kicks are reliable and seems more calmer under pressure as he plays AFL.
