Didn't King injur himself in the pre season game where he looked proppy af. Marshall could barely break out of a jog or jump the 1st 2 or 3 gamesThat goes directly against what Lyon has said about King all year.
Marshall was touch and go for round 1. There were track watches telling us he was in training for a good few weeks prior.

Wing is the spot for him imo. His biggest weapon is his aerobic capacity and his power so he can win those contests between the arcsIn three years time once Philipou, Travaglia, Hugo Garcia, Boxshall and Wilson are playing full time on ball (and another 2-3 first round picks drafted) does anyone think Windhager is anywhere remotely in the 23?
Can't find any role without being a tagger. Perhaps he becomes a winger? I can't see him playing on ball if he isn't a tagger. he's not a fwd/back and can't kick for s***t...
I feel your painI dunno, we are all over the shop this season. I accept that we are probably a bottom four team this years but unlike the other three North, Richmond & West Coast we are capable of beating almost any team on our good days.
I really don't think the coaching staff is getting the best from our list. Enright, Harvey, Bolton & Lyon etc... On paper that's a great looking coaching line-up... Robert Harvey is my all time favourite footballer & I cried when he went to Collingwood to coach & jizzed my pants when he return the the Saints. But FMD... In my view, these four coaches aren't bringing us the rewards our list deserves.
Sure, we have some huge holes in our list... what team would trade in Steele, Hill, Byrnes, Jones, McCrae, Butler or Clark? All too old or too shite. It took two years on our list to work out Keeler was actually ok as a footballer. Lyon was called a genius about how he handled Garcia but where is Garcia now?
Why is Hill still being picked? Probably the softest AFL player I've ever witnessed. I bet he never buys a round of drinks in the pub. He is the type that goes to the toilet when it's his shout. I was calling for his head 3 years ago & he's still going down(hill).
We don't seem to have any on field leadership, apart from the backline. Webster & Wilkie are rocks. Steele is as hard as a cats head but lacks polish. Steele has put his all into this team & invested everything he has but he's not an elite player. We wish he was a Matty Rowel or Tom Green but alas he's not, he's Giants reject.
Yeah, Iām a bit bemused on the other side of the world this year. I havenāt seen every game, but in those I have watched performances have been very unpredictable. Some weeks they look okay, the next itās a hammering and they look lost.I dunno, we are all over the shop this season. Absolutely fair pointMaybe if we had a midfield he wouldn't have to
Giants reject is a bit harsh. They didn't want to let him go and some of The Oranje would probably take him back now (for nothing).I dunno, we are all over the shop this season. Thompson could spread though, steele can't really. At his best he used to get back to help out the defence, but those days are long gone. Steele is either inside mid or bust. Windhager gives me much more thompson vibesI've never been a huge fan, but I'd say in a good team he'd probably be 3rd or 4th mid, like Andrew Thompson used to be for us, and in a premiership team probably on the fringe.
Always been an avenue for seconds players to get a few senior games. Their careers donāt tend to be long. Try that rubbish in local footy and see how long you last.In three years time once Philipou, Travaglia, Hugo Garcia, Boxshall and Wilson are playing full time on ball (and another 2-3 first round picks drafted) does anyone think Windhager is anywhere remotely in the 23?

Loved it.about time!Havenāt seen a fight at the footy all year and saw a couple tonight. I wonder what the common denominator was?
Like the knees in the ribs and bum of Windy when he's on the ground.So a question around the tagger. Is it also allowable to scrag or impede the tagger by other players to support their player being tagged? Or are the umpires too focused on the original tag role and ignore anything that happens to a tagger?
Fend off?Saints have gotta appeal that fine on Windhager even if it costs more that the fine.
fn ridiculous
What utter nonsense. Cameron Ling and Kane Cornes carved out pretty decent careers.Always been an avenue for seconds players to get a few senior games. Their careers donāt tend to be long. Try that rubbish in local footy and see how long you last.

Caminiti will only get better with experience, but our defence, no matter who plays there, suffers from poor defensive work from the midfield and forwards which just puts too much pressure back on them- add to that our inability to mark the long ball coming out of defence. Part of this is tactical, and a lack of team discipline, as it is annoying, not just in this game, but many, to see our players all rush to forward of the ball in stoppages and contests generally, and we saw how the Pies exploited the lack of protection on the defensive side of contests including centre bounces. This has been going on for a while and doesn't seem to be getting addressed by Lyon and his mates in the coaching box.We were better.
Caminiti is still worth persisting with, but at this stage, he's an uncomplicated footballer. We can't expect him to make complex onfield decisions. But the defence remains an issue - we are just conceding too much score. Previously (and this year again versus Fremantle) we were able to strangle ball movement. Just can't seem to do it any more.
