Bugger.

Geelong were too good. No team really dominated, but Geelong kept their nose in front all day long and are worthy winners.

Collingwood tried all day but just lacked system when going forward. Too many times we bombed it in and Scarlett, Mackie and Harley could relieve the pressure. Disappointing day for Rocca (again), Harry and Swan. Travis Cloke is a star.

Awesome game Magpies. You hung in there, pushed us hard... awesome pressure. Was a beautiful game to watch.

And looking at the 16 point difference in the game, it seems quite possible that Clement and Prestigiacomo in the backline could have made the difference. If the favourites win this round, then Collingwood will stay in 4th place, and hopefully will remain there to have another crack at Geelong in the first final with a few players back. Surely Rocca won't be as bad again either as it seems that three weeks off for him in the last four weeks, including the bye, was too long, and he couldn't get restarted.
