Adelaide over Saints
Geelong over Collingwood
West Coast over Port
Bulldogs over Dons
Brisbane over Melbourne
Sydney over Carlton
Hawthorn over Spoonmond
Freo over Kangas (???)

Very easy round to tip, which means they'll be a fair number of upsets. Get on the Kangas I reckon.

Saints. last roll of the dice
Cats. Just, but Pies match up well v the Cats so it will be close
West Coast. Not confident,Eagles look flat.
Dogs. Both teams have about 700 games of experience out. Will be close.
Brisbane. If they play like last week should win comfortably.
Sydney. By about 12 goals
Hawks. Too much to play for.
Freo. But if they lose,Connoly gone.

I cant stand the reasoning "too much to play for" What the hell does that even mean? Its so idiotic, its that type of mentality that annoys the f*** out of me. I certainly hope the Hawks rooms are going into every match with that outlook. Fans who use too much to play for as a reason why a side will win is just ridiculous

It means they need to find an extra gear if they want to make sure they will secure a finals berth , richmond are playing for nothing more than respect and draft picks. A finals berth and potentially top 4 chance is more to play for than respect and draft picks, get it?

Essendon vs Western Bulldogs - 30 Points - Injuries and suspensions to the Bombers and the fact its at the Dome will see the Dogs win this one - Essendon to start Crumbling.

St Kilda vs Adelaide
Will win at home, but not by much. Crows really need to recruit for a proper key forward as this is where the Saints can be exploited. - 15 points

Collingwood vs Geelong
People reckon this will be close. People are mistaken. - 48 points

Port Adelaide vs West Coast
Eagles are out of form conceding defeat to the Lions at home, but Port are in a bad, bad rut. - 21 points

Essendon vs Western Bulldogs
Bombers look the goods this year, Doggies have disappointed, my expectations were a lot higher. - 28 points

Melbourne vs Brisbane
At away , and in good form Brissy should get over the line comfortably. Black, Lappin and Power to run amuck against the Bruceless Dees. - 38 points

Sydney vs Carlton
Don't think I need to explain. - 89 points

Hawthorn vs Richmond
Would be upset of the year - EDIT: Forgot last weeks debacle in Perth - but still a very tall order for the bottom side. - 32 points

Fremantle vs Kangaroos
Freo simply have to win. Can't be stressed enough. If they are planning to make an end of year finals charge, they are definatley leaving it as late as possible. Should get over the line in a close one at home. - 7 points

lol, yep I not only want that to happen but I think that will actually happen the competition has been so even and West Coast struggle against Port at AAMI while Geelong play there 2nd game at the MCG for the year last year they played Collingwood there I think you remember what happened;) Also Richmond is Hawthorn's bogey team and Richmond are playing some good footy at the moment.:p

I just hope the Collingwood players come in with the mind set that they flogged us last year, so all they need to do to win this week is turn up. They'll be in for a very rude awakening if they do. We have improved at least 250% from that very, very dark night.

if hird fletcher and davey were playing id be worried but unforunetly (not) they are not playing.

you may have the last laugh, but seriously, geelong is unbeatable.

and the saints will get flogged

hawks will demolish tigers

Aren't you a true supporter:rolleyes: So you think St.Kilda will lose to the side that lost to us at AAMI by 23 points & St.Kilda only lost by 9 to us also the match is at Telstra Dome, St.Kilda have a good record there. Also were the best chance out of all teams to beat Geelong especially at the 'G'.

PS: I've been to two games in my life and my record stands as 2-0 so looking to make it 3-0;)

St. Kilda - Adelaide are inconsistent, don't know what you're gonna get from one week to the next (losing to the out of form Eagles at home, then thrashing an inform Hawthorn ). Hopefully the bad Adelaide shows up and we win by 2 goals.

Geelong - If there was a game that the Cats are going to drop, this could be it. I don't think they will. Cats by 22 points.

West Coast - You get the feeling they just weren't trying last week, which means it should be easy for them to improve. Port are fading a bit as a young side. Eagles by 15 points.

Essendon - Some good ins for the Bombers this week, will be a shootout which could see this go either way. Bombers in an upset, by 4 points.

Melbourne - Melbourne struggle at the Gabba but I think Brisbane will still be celebrating their win over a team that didn't care too much. Dees to break through by 8 points.

Sydney - Sydney have been a little patchy this year. Carlton have started tanking but should have a dip and keep the margin to 25 points.

Hawthorn - They'll bounce back after last week's embarrassment. 45 points.

Kangaroos - Kangas to put the final nail in Freo's finals hopes, by 15 points.

Even though Collingwood has beaten Geelong comfortably the previous four times they've played each other, I'm quite sure they won't be taking the team that is currently on top of the ladder lightly. It's the best of both worlds actually because it's a team that Collingwood has confidence in matching-up against, but because they are on top, they must be taken seriously.
We have improved at least 250% from that very, very dark night.
I'm interested on how you came up with that figure. It is actually quite impossible to improve that much! Geelong have won 5 more matches compared to this time last year, and their percentage is about 50% better.

That is about a combined improvement of 70-75% on last season at best, which is very good, but not be enough to turn a 102 point defeat around unless Collingwood are about 50% worse than last season. The sky was dark that night, but the match was a beauty!

Geelong v Collingwood (15 points) Collingwood match-up well, after winning the previous four against this team, and they play the ground particularly well. It is an important game for Collingwood, while Geelong are now two games and percentage ahead of the rest, which may take the edge off them.

St Kilda v Adelaide (22 points)
Port Adelaide v West Coast (19 points)
Essendon v Western Bulldogs (14 points)
Melbourne v Brisbane Lions (25 points)
Sydney v Carlton (32 points)
Hawthorn v Richmond (9 points)
Fremantle v Kangaroos (6 points)

Firstly, you've only beaten us the last two times we've played you, not four as you suggest. We are actually 5-5 in the last 10 games, so no-one has an advantage in the head to head in recent times.

I admit the 250% figure was a gross exaggeration, but the fact remains the way we're playing now is entirely different to how we played in that game. Comparing us now to how we played in that game is like comparing apples with oranges. As a point of interest, since that game till the end of last season, we had a 7-6-1 record, compared to Collingwood's 8-6, so the result of one game isn't a fair indication of how one team is travelling. Case in point is Hawthorn's capitulation last week. Not a true indication of their season as a whole to date.

As for us taking the foot off the accelerator slightly because we're two games and percentage ahead of the competition, I would think that the opposite is true. All and sundry are waiting and hoping for Geelong to fall over at some stage, and I'm sure Geelong will be hell bent on making sure that doesn't happen. Add to that the temptation to exact revenge after that game last year, and I'm quietly confident we will chalk up our 10th win in a row this week, by about 4-5 goals.

As for my other tips:

Adelaide will thump the Saints by 10+ goals
Port Adelaide will sneak past the Eagles by about 7 points
Bulldogs will beat Essendon by about 35 points
Brisbane will beat Melbourne by 15 points
Sydney by 45 points over Carlton
Hawthorn to bounce back and account for Richmond by 24 points
Kangaroos will shock Fremantle, and signal the death knell for Connolly's coaching career at Fremantle by prevailing by 15 points.

We've beaten you 4 out of the last 5 times, which does show an advantage head to head. The 5 preceding games are irrelevant as its too far back....completely different set of players involved.

Having said that, it doesn't mean much and I tipped the cats as they have been so dominent in their wins this year. Not that I don't think we aren't within a chance.
