Zach Merret or Tom Mitchell for Beams??

Already have Danger, Pendles, Kennedy, Treloar, Rockliff, Bontempelli and Fyfe

Should I go early on Maxy Gawn for Tom Lynch? If Lynch spuds it again he will lose the same as gawn would anyways...
I'd hold off if he does Spud it up you dont lose anything.

But if he has a solid game you'll save a bit of cash. Lynch has a decent record against Robbie Tarrant as well

Seems like everyone's keeping Newman? I still feel like one of Newman or Shaw has to be upgraded

I will keep both but one will be D7. Newman plays lots of games early in the week so good loop-holing potential. Anything over 90 and Heater is benched.

I really want to go Newman -> Lloyd.

I know Newman is keeping his worth but if that's the only POD I have in a match up, I would feel nervous as hell.

Lachie Neale - 7 games of 120+ (cheapest priced and BE of 111)

Tom Mitchell - 3 games of 120+ (but only 1 game under 100)

Zach Merrett - 6 games of 120+ (probably in the best form)

Okay so 10 trades left, 17.7k in the bank.

Was considering going:

Stewart > C. Brown via Witherden and Wallis to (def & mid respectively)

Barrett > Yeo, Cripps, Neale or Bont (568.2k in bank to spend on this trade)

Would love some thoughts!

Appreciate that!

5 round average of Neale only 102.8 compared to Mitchell (116.4) and Merret (117.6)

I do like the look of Neale and surely Fyfe and Sandi coming back into the side will help his scoring rather then reduce it?

Who are your other backman?
I'd keep newman over shaw if you have him

Go for it! Nothing wrong with that! Plenty of trades and need to get some cash

Docherty, Adams, Laird, Howe, Hibberd and Newman.

Lloyd rounds it out nicely but just can't justify it with 6 trades left, especially if I'm using two next week on Parsons/Witts to Witherdan/Gawn.

3 trades left for LTIs with this long left leaves me on the verge of anxiety. There was absolute carnage last year between now and finals.

I hear ya!
Think with that backline you have to miss out on Lloyd. An extra trade in the bank could be the difference between winning your league or completely crashing in the overall rankings

Was all set to go Roughead -> Greene to complete my forward line this week but with the injury speculation with Greene I'm a bit gun shy now.

Realise GWS have come out and said rolled ankle, still expecting to him to play but do we still think its worth bringing him in?

Being just outside top 500 and pretty much top of all leagues, now is the time to be patient. Overall is to far gone, but can make up some ground if people start falling over. Lots up the top are short on trades like myself.

Mitchell is a guaranteed ton every week. Merrett has more potential to go 130+ imo. Such a tough one tho, both so durable and reliable. Merrett has 6 of his last nine games at ES which is favourable

Merrets record at etihad is very impressive, a stat i hadn't look at. Probably looking at someone with a bigger ceiling as i have a few consistent scorers i.e Pendles, Bonti, Kennedy

I was hoping to trade out Selwood for Merrett but I'm just short of $. Can't decide whether to go Neale, Kennedy, Cripps or Billings. Any suggestions welcome.

Guys and girls, I'm stumped. Some assistance please.

Had planned on doing Steele > Gawn via Nank in a few weeks, and just doing Scooter to either Brown or Witherden and Shaw > Docherty this week and having Greenwood at M8. Now I'm not sure.

The other option I was contemplating is Steele > Witherden/Brown via Greenwood (now F6, and ****ing up my Steele > Gawn trade soon) and Scooter to Docherty via Lloyd (and therefore having to keep Shaw who's shitting my up the wall.)

Thoughts?

I can't decide between Merrett, Neale and Bontempelli?

I can't decide between Merrett, Neale and Pendles.

I'm unsure if your decision is easier or tougher because you have the value aspect to take into account re: Bont.

Z.Merrett for mine.

If you watch the games and live scoring, T.Mitchell is one of the most frustrating players I’ve ever owned. If I didn’t, I would probably enjoy his consistent 105+. Merrett has the higher ceiling though so it always gives you an extra captain option.

You really can’t go wrong with either in the end though. T.Mitchell averages 114.4 in losses and 115.2 in wins this year so it’s completely irrelevant for him. Z.Merrett on the other hand averages 117 in wins and 112 in losses. If they win 5 of their last 8 games where SC points are relevant, you’d be looking at 115.1
