I dgaf I’m eating a donut this week. Not enough trades to deal with it all. Rather a complete team in 3-4 weeks and hopefully preuss and butters are part of that…

He's not first in line. Duryea's out with injury but Crozier has come in, he's had very consistent VFL form. Also spent a bit of time out in COVID protocols.

I think I have to grab Clarke for CStephens. It opens up the MID/FWD link which will be very handy going forward. The coach saying "he's like another Kane Lambert" is a big compliment, considering how highly rated Lambert is internally.

After CStephens to Clarke, I have $94,400 to spend, and one donut still to fix. So it's:

-Butters to <$565,400 to spend>
so anyone from Parker to Treloar to Greene...

or I can hold Butters and just grab a cheapo

Hard to say .
Seems all these Forward Kent's need at least 2 plus goals to score well.
Porkins scores well from fook all touches .
GWS playing heaps though the guts Greene should get heaps of chances to score .

Flip the bat ...flats porkins roofs punchable.
 
Have to trade Preuss to avoid a donut...then I have to watch him come back, play every game and average 110.

I better see some kotd action from Witts this week, not sure what happened last week...

Clark -> Clarke
Preuss -> ROB

Will loop Clarke/McCartin at F6 with Butters, hopefully one of them scores well. But whenever I need a rookie to score well on field they turn into a spud.

Next week:

MRJ/Hough -> Uwland
Butters -> English

Leaves me 3 trades left.....1 for when Darcy gets injured, 1 for when Grundy kills Cameron, 1 for when I finally get sick of Zerrett/Spudtracca

I’ve owned Treloar from the beginning and it’s been a relatively frustrating experience. Yeah he’s averaging 97, but that was inflated somewhat by his 149. I have Parker as well and he’s been great. Have you got Bont?

Heeney (never again list) or Taranto (same list) might also be options if you’re willing to take the punt.

Rutten going to spin the magnets between now and the end of the year. If I needed a cheap forward at the moment I'd take a punt on Archie Perkins.

I'm feeling pretty much the same, as I'm down to 5 trades and have Butters, Preuss, English and Teakle to deal with:
  1. No trades - stuff it and take the donuts
  2. One trade - keep Preuss
  3. Two trades - trade Preuss
Decisions decisions!!!

I ended up trading Gawn and Preuss to Darcy and Jackson.

Half of it has worked out...
 
My decision was to trade Preuss to Jackson or Darcy.

Decided to skip Jackson because I didn't want to have to use another trade to upgrade him to Gawn in a few weeks. I know Jackson could be retained and moved fwd, but realistically the Jackson money is the only way I could bring Gawn in. And who knows what his scoring will be like once Max is back.

Not looking like a good move thus far, but I guess we'll wait and see. All depends on how Darcy goes, not only vs Jackson but also following Gawn's return.

I also screwed up my VC pick going Neale instead of Clarry. Now do I put the C on Macrae or take a left field option?
