Plenty of money and plenty of trades - but what to do?

Obviously I will look to upgrade Wehr, but was going to do that next week for Stewart (who has a HUGE breakeven).

Rosas --> Bontempelli is another that is tempting me. It will essentially leave me with one of Preuss / Jackson as bench cover (with Jackson also having the DPP link).

Green --> Mills was another I was considering.

What would you do?

With Neale, Laird, Kelly, Macrae, Cripps, Merrett, Green, Petracca, I'd have thought it'd leave me with a surplus of midfielders.

Yeah - Preuss --> Bontempelli is a strong option.

As unreliable as he has been, Preuss always seems to score well and is likely to return next week, so it's tempting to just hold him. Throw in Gawn's eventual return and the impact it'll have on Jackson's scoring and there's something to think about.

Yes, i'm broken. We all have our limits....and yes i know there are poor starving folk out there struggling to get into the top 10,000, and i sound like an ungrateful arseclown. I dont give a s**t anymore.

I actually think if you are ranked 215 you have better reasons to melt than those of us that are ranked 5-20,000, so melt away Bollox. Not sure how I'd handle the pressure of being that highly ranked at this point of the season to be honest!

At least you are still within reach of greatness, us other plebs are just chasing league glory from here really.

Flip side of that is Preuss has already been suspended 3 times this year (including preseason) and consistently gets injured. Do you want to have that unreliability moving forward?

I think given how poor the rucks are you just ride the Jackson wave until its no longer feasible and use funds from a Rosas for exmaple to get Gawn/Darcy etc

Till then I would get getting Bont this week, Stewart next and then focus on those upgrades

Who knows? I've gone D'Ambrosio personally but that's because I've already got Voss for the FWD / DEF link, but I reckon the ability to swing McCartin forward and back is probably more valuable than whatever minor score any of those 3 get. If I didn't have Voss I would've gone Bazzo for that reason.

My decision was to trade Preuss to Jackson or Darcy.

Decided to skip Jackson because I didn't want to have to use another trade to upgrade him to Gawn in a few weeks. I know Jackson could be retained and moved fwd, but realistically the Jackson money is the only way I could bring Gawn in. And who knows what his scoring will be like once Max is back.

Not looking like a good move thus far, but I guess we'll wait and see. All depends on how Darcy goes, not only vs Jackson but also following Gawn's return.
