Game Day Round 15 v Bulldogs. Sit. Stay. Roll over.

How's it even physically possible to only generate 5 goals from 69 inside 50s... that stat to me single handedly points to a failure in the coaching box. Nothing else.

This has been a ongoing theme for YEARS..

Telling us in a press conference that it's a work in progress every week when you're asked doesn't ******* cut it.

...

This is one aspect I'll defend to some degree as the Bulldogs had the bus well and truly parked soon as they got a sniff that we were gaining momentum. From last night I'm more critical of our inept skills once the rain eased up and complete lack of leadership from our so called leaders.

Couldn't get to sleep until 3am is was that pissed off. Took that long to calm down after that filth we dished up.

I slept straight away.

I just don't care anymore.

The club and team needs to string together several wins to get me reinvesting, at the end of last season, and after the rebuild phase started in the offseason, i switched off caring, and won't be reinvesting until I see us stringing together multiple good results in a row.

Another goalless quarter
I clicked 'like' to ^. What is the matter with me? (my bold btw).
You follow a club all your life and you click like to not kicking a goal in the last qtr. o_O
How angry was I last night?, well it started with having a very heavy cold yet trooping along to the march (smallest ever).
Yelled my lungs out to the point my already sore throat started to feel like my voice would give way.
The rain didn't bother me but the cold caught my chest and I thought sheesh what am I doing here.
By the 20 odd minute mark of the 2nd I turned around and left. Yep walked out on my team. I have never done that before... ever!
The straw that broke my back was a crap effort from Ollie and then Ken came on screen with his trademark vacant look
and I said to myself "yeah right...... get ****ed". Followed this board on the train and come 3/4 time back home
in front of the fire I thought mmmmm are we 1/2 a chance here....... pfft yeah right.

Watched the last qtr and somehow Déjà vu swept over me. Mot slops misses a sitter and we bang our collective heads together for zero.
Remember Ken's 'casino' play? he said it only once last year but it caught my ear. Said it was an 'in house' term he used when
the team went all out or all in and came up with nothing. Sound familiar? It had become so familiar that he'd coined his own phrase.
That was last year or was it the year before? Some-one bumped a thread on here the other day and I was reading posts from 2016.
Cripes they could have been written last night. We've turned over close to a full team of players since and yet here we are... again/still.

Years ago when I was young I promised myself I'd never end up a grumpy old man....... and then :(.
Last night was a bad loss and an even worse look on tv with all those empty seats. Yeah the weather was schizenhausen but there was
more at play than the weather. Kochie and KT won't make the hard call on Ken and what he's done to our once proud club but
plenty of punters have. They've voted with their feet and more will follow. Jeezes I walked out last night and wasn't even embarrassed.

I mean seriously how much can a koala bear. Showdown next week and I couldn't care less. Right now win lose or draw who gives a ....

Ok here is a game for you to play at home watching on TV, that I am going to try to keep some stats on at the game.

How many times do we kick it to Charlie on a lead?

How many times do we bomb it to Charlie in a pack or one on one?

How many times does Charlie get his hands to the ball first and drop it?

How many times does he catch it?

How many times do we have a player in position crumbing a dropped catch?

How many times does the crumbing player end up with the ball?

What score do we get from those crumbs?

Aahahahahahhaa - ******* mint.

It's downright embarassing how much we predict our own performances with such accuracy.

About as pissed off as I've ever been with this club last night.

Normally I'm pissed off, but I'm more gutted/deflated/crushed, or should I say flat, which best describes the performance of the group.

I know we don't have a future under Hinkley, but we were still a chance to play finals if we backed up that Geelong win. The players let us down big time.

The rest of the season is just playing out time, it's just dead rubber games now.

Yeah I'm well past anger and into depression.

It is only my stubborn nature that refuses to let me move on to acceptance.

I thought Drew was hard done by because he frequently worked hard to make himself easily the best option to go to moving forward and they'd; pass to SGray or Motlop instead who would stop and do nothing, or they'd ignore him to kick to a contest down the line.
That's what I think watching us. There is no real teamwork evident. So disappointing and heartbreaking.

I wrote a massive angry email to Richardson after our last showdown loss.
Fuming at the umps, our accepting of the umpiring, and Ken’s poor selections and abysmal Showdown tally.
I received a reply after the next time we had a win, with keep the faith.
I don’t have the energy left to email again.
They know how we feel.

PLEASE TELL US HOW ROCKLIFF AND WESTHOFF WOULD HAVE ASSISTED US HER AGAIN... Look at the Showdown, Boak out and Rockliff can't lift...

That moment you realise posting at half time may not have been your best idea :p

Dropping Westhoff for this game was completely unnecessary. It might have cost us the game, and a spot in the finals.
Not dropping him eight weeks earlier is more likely to have cost us finals.

Whod’ve thunk rockets work

Chicken, egg, or chicken omelette?

For mine it's the chicken omelette.
Rockets work even on players not directly impacted.
If anything, scapegoating youngsters or fringe players has the opposite effect.
