Surprised to see only three changes but they're all good uns. And thank god Hogan is in
Blakely had to go but Mitch would be skating on very thin ice...

I would normally advocate pumping games into the kids but Henry was so far off the pace it wasn't funny. He's had a taste and I'm sure he'll get another game before the season is out.

Acres & Aish on wings, Blakely out......Cerra to the middle? Probably not, but yes please! Understand he is playing very well on the wing, but long term (hopefully round one next season) he'll be an inside mid
With Hogan back in Fyfe will likely play more mid minutes. Can see them rotating all of Acres, Aish and Cerra through the middle at times.
I'm just crossing my fingers we can see the Walters we love and not the play for frees version we've had lately.
It's bemusing this shit has not been sorted out...we're all about values and "things to work on" and yet here we are...

We're sending out a well balanced side. We have the extra tall up forward and though we're a bit undersized down back, we can cover if needed with either Hogan or Lobb.
I don't read too much into the dropped players. Henry adjusted better to the pace of AFL better in his 2nd week and Blakely didn't get enough of the ball. Both will come back.
The 4 day break and travelling isn't as big an issue - Richmond have a 6 day break, but over the last month, they've had their games crammed in with shorter breaks than us...whereas we've had 2 x 7 day breaks prior to this short turnaround.
We've got a strong midfield. Really give us a chance to pull off the upset of the season.

In fairness every other side has players who do it repeatedly but actually get given frees. So perhaps he either needs to scrap it or do some acting lessons.

That forward line looks alright on paper
Too much firepower. Lynch and Riewoldt plus Rioli, Bolton. The forward line of ours will need a few games to get going.
